INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
READING THE ENCODER OUTPUT AND DETERMINING THE Jun 2010-Jul 2010 ANGLE OF ROTATION USING PIC 16F877A Laser Science & Technology (LASTEC), D.R.D.O.,Delhi The industrial summer training was carried out at LASTEC D.R.D.O. to understand the working of stepper motor and rotary encoder using PIC.A system consisting of a stepper motor which is rotated using PIC 16F877A microcontroller by giving desired no. of pulses to the stepper motor and the encoder output connected to the motor read by another PIC to determine the angle of rotation using LED's.

PROJECTS
IMPLEMENTATION OF A STREAM CIPHER ALGORITHM USING CONVOLUTIONAL ENCODER AND VITERBI DECODER Major Project Jan 2011-Apr 2011

In cryptography the basic idea of this algorithm is to encrypt the data using stream cipher technique. In this algorithm a complex key is generated using a key scheduling subroutine which is processed with the plaintext to generate encrypted data. The key is dynamically decided based on the data. To make the data more secured during the transmission encrypted data is encoded using convolution encoding. The received data at receiver is decoded using viterbi decoding. The decoded data is equivalent to the encrypted data. This encrypted data is then processed with the same key to generate the decrypted data. Coding of this algorithm was done in VHDL
BASE 64 STREAM CIPHER ALGORITHM Minor Project Aug 2010-Dec 2010

.In BASE64 three bytes of data is considered and each of byte data is processed with a key to generate 3 modified bytes of data. These 3 bytes of data are combined to form 24 bits of sequence which are broken into four 6 bits long sequences. Corresponding to the 6 bits sequence an alphanumeric character is assigned. These 4 alphanumeric characters act as encrypted

data. The corresponding encrypted data is again decrypted to extract back the input. Coding of BASE64 stream cipher was done in VHDL
RC4 STREAM CIPHER ALGORITHM Mini Project Sept 2009- Apr 2010

RC4 is a stream cipher algorithm. In the process of encryption a key is generated using key scheduling algorithm, this key is XORed with the binary data to generate CIPHER TEXT. This cipher text is then decrypted by XORing the cipher text with the key to generate the decrypted data which is same is same as the input data. Coding of RC4 stream cipher was done in VHDL
PASSWORD ENABLED DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM MICROCONTROLLER ATC89C2051 In-House Training USING Jun, 2009-Jul, 2009

A microcontroller based model that consist of a keypad to enter the desired password and a buzzer to indicate the correctness of the password. In this project a 20 pin microcontroller ATC89C2051 is used to control the 4*3 keypad. The keypad is used to input a four character input. The subsequent input is then compared with a predefined value. If the output is correct a buzzer goes on which can be a indication for opening the door. COMPUTER SKILLS
