Cell phone/mobile phone) can be define as an electronic device used to make mobile telephone calls across a wide geographic area, served by many public cells, allowing the user to be mobile all the time. A mobile phone can make and receive telephone calls to and from the public telephone network which includes other mobiles and fixed-line phones across the world. It does this by connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile network operator. The wide usage of hand phones however, could lead to many advantages and disadvantages. Some of the positive effect of hand phone usage is it can make communications much easier. Having this gadget we easily reach our love ones, family and friends. Through the easy of cell phone, it helps of many people to solve any problem arises in between two individual. Cell phones really influence the lifestyle of a certain community in terms of their livelihood. Cell phones are very useful if there are any emergency cases and use for navigation for the travelers. Through cell phones they can easily get an aid from the rescuers and for the travelers they will not lost of their direction because they can easily call the nearest station to get help. Nowadays, handphones rarely just have one function, which is to make and receive calls. There are more functions and features such as listening to music, taking pictures with an in-built camera, playing games, and even logging on the internet and etc. Disadvantages of cell phones are it brings health problems to the users because of the radiation, in this case the life style of the individual will be change for the reasons that he cannot work comfortably because of the radiation of the cell and this can cause headache, migraine and worst formation of tumors in the brain. Other than that, user-abuse is the fact that some users are not considerate in that they make use of the phone in places where it is not allowed. As such they disturb others. It is one thing to let it ring loudly, but yet another, to be answering the phone. For example, in movie theatres, plays and the like. Pornography is another thing that most students today have in their hand phones. It will affect the development of moral and attitude of the student and our future generation.

The usage of hand phone is crucial in our daily life. However, the advantage and disadvantages that arise from hand phone use depends how an individual use it whether he or she use it for good or the other way. We must realise what are the main purpose of using hand phones and avoid the illicit use of this device at all cost.
