From the Desk of The Editor Re-discover democracy

Democracy is at the root of the present political system. We are able to have a truly independent nation because we are having democracy. Democracy demands that we have to enable people to express and to organize. We have to believe in the capabilities of people and enable them to channelise their energies. Democracy is the system, which is able create rejuveninating capabilities within the system. People are able to raise their voice and they are able to transform their own systems. Peaceful protests and conflicts of ideas are helpful in restoring the process of democracy. Due to lack of proper democratic training, we are deteriorating into a corrupt, lethargic and beaucratic nation. We need to enable people to use the democratic processes. Anna Hazare is the iconic leader of present time, who is able to bring a voice of the people at the top level and is vigorously campaigning for a corruption free nation. Educational institutions can play a very important role in promoting democratic values and in training students in democratic process. CONGRATULATIONS TO SRI KANTIKUMAR R.
