EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report is written to assess success and to derive a specific definition of the success. Different people have different opinions about success. To combine and to find out a single and meaningful definition we have conducted interviews from different personalities about whom we think that they are successful in their lives. They defined the success in very unique and goods aspects, which you can study with, detail in rest of the report. We developed a questionnaire to assess and to give weightage to the main factors and the key indicators to success it was found that many factors showed negative trend and some of them showed a positive trend, which means that those factors play an important role in achieving success.

INTRODUCTION
Success is defined as the desired achievement in each phase and prospect of life. If we ask some one to define success then we will get different answers and unique points from different personalities. What is the main reason that success is different for different person? Each person will define success with a new definition. So, it is difficult to derive a specific definition of success. Basically, success is the achievement for which you deserve. In each work activity, phase, observations, experiments, games etc. success involves in all these things and also other things. If you ask someone to describe success, the most common answer will you get is Success is a good job, Salary, Designation, but no one will define it with another aspect that is social life. Some one will define it with its experiences. If we really and deeply examine the success then we can derive a definition. Success involves the final achievement of your work that is real success is in after worl and after death success. Then in life there are many success levels in each segment and phase. To assess and derive a specific meaning of success we have recently conducted interviews of some successful personalities, and collected the information about success and about their success. A questionnaire was also developed and filled by those personalities. The purpose of developing this questionnaire is to derive a specific definition of success that is what success really is and what factors are involve in success. So all the details about those interviews are provided with detail in this report.

INTERVIEW NO 01
Very first interview we have conducted about success from training and development manager of Pakistan Tobacco Company Akora Khattak. Main contents and details of the interview are given below.

INTRODUCTION
Mr. Naseer khan is a Technical training manager in Pakistan Tobacco Company Akora Khattak. He was recently promoted to this designation. Former he was production manager. His current grade is 35 and is performing his duties efficiently.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Mr. Naseer Khan has done diploma in mechanical engineering and stood in top five in board. Due to his results Pakistan Tobacco Company offered him a job as mechanical engineer. He accepted the offer and starts the professional life but along with his job he also continued his studies and done B.A and M.A in political sciences. After doing so he took admission in MBA as a part time student of virtual university. But due to unavoidable issues he left MBA and started a journey towards success in his professional life.

CAREER DEVELOMENT
Mr. Naseer Khan was first hired in PTC as mechanical engineer and with the passage of time by observing his work efficiency he was promoted to Production manager and a little after as Training and Development manager. All these are done just by his managers quality.

INTERVIEW DETAILS
Interview we have taken from Mr. Naseer Khan was remained unique and informational. Interview was started with formal discussions and we asked him to tell us his point of view about success. Details are discussed below. According to Mr. Naseer Khan success keeps different views by different persons if you are taking my views I will define it relevant to my life, since each person will define it with different meanings. Success is basically consists of two things that is will and skill we can formulate the success in such a way: SKILL + WILL = SUCCESS If someone has skill and along with skill he/she has will to do then he/she would be successful. But one thing that thinks that it is not real success it is just your achievement. I think that success is hide in the working relationships and your character. Real success is that when you leave the organization then your subordinates and colleagues remembers you in positive manners and always praise about you. It means that you should create your goodwill by your working relationships. If you are keeping good relationships with each your employee, subordinate, colleague and they have a very clear and positive image in their minds about you then this is real success. Every one can reach a better designation and can get a heavy salary but whenever you havent good relationships then your designation and salary is worthless. Good relations let you to survive with satisfaction and freely. If we examine it deeply good relationships are the base for success in each phase and segment of life. From birth of a child till death the main thing that is focused is behavior and attitude of the person. Because behavior and attitude are the factors that determine the image of the person and let others to perceive about you either in positive sense or negative depending on your attitude and behavior similarly your relationships deeply

matter in the success. Let us develop a scenario and try to define that how relationships can one of the stair of success. If you are Manager in any organization and provide friendly environment in the organization. Then everyone in the organization will perceive positive about you and if you are very strict BOSS then everyone will upset and one of the loss is the turnover of the employees This scenario reflects that your relationships inside the organizations are the main factor to your professional success as well as outside organization success. After examining success from relations point of view now we shall focus towards some more factors of your success. We cannot define success in one thing. I think that no one can be successful till your life ends because success dont have end point. I studied one thing in B.A economics about the needs and wants of the human that is Maslows need theory. If your one want fulfills then you want to get more and better then the previous. The chain of wants and needs of human doesnt ends. So if we see that there is a success at one point then it would be wrong thinking. I see success in my life in three main stages. Each stage has a success point. I divided my life in three stages:

STAGE 2 PROFES SION

STAGE 3 SOCIAL LIFE

Each stage has a success level like stage 1 (STUDY) has a success level up to your last degree and there after stage 2 (PROFESSION) has a success level of good job, Designation, Salary and then stage 3 (SOCIAL LIFE) has a success level of your relationships, respect, self actualization, and the most important the life of your children and their better future. All these stages are interconnected if one of the stage is weak then the whole success cycle can be affected. So it is necessary to maintain an aligned level to achieve success in each stage and maintain a balance between each stage. One thing that I think that is very important factor of your success is interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication builds a hierarchy to achieve success. Interpersonal communication tends you to create your positive and good image of your personality in others mind. Your interpersonal communication makes your relationships strong in the organization and outside the organization. The next thing is open environment if your workplace provides an open environment to you then interpersonal communication plays the motivational role in your development. With open environment your thinking will be creative and creative thinking tends you to move towards innovations and innovations are the symbol of success.

CAREER DEVELOMENT
He was first hired as credit card dealer in a bank in Islamabad and then due to his efficient work he was promoted to cashier and then with the passage of time he was promoted to operational manager and then to branch manager of Attock city branch. He joins Silk Bank in 2005 with a very low rank job and by his hard work and continuous personality grooming now he is the branch manager employees who are more than in age more than in experience more than in education they are not selected but Mr. Atif is selected as the Branch manager due to his devotion to the bank and due his hard work and sense of responsibility

According to Mr. Atif Bin Asif success is inner satisfaction if a person is not satisfied he never be a successful person so for success inner satisfaction is very important. Successful persons think different from other people they are very innovative and had unique personality. If a person is not humble and not God fearing he will never be a successful person. Successful persons are very responsible in all aspects of their life especially in their jobs when a task is given to them they must had to fulfill this task in the mean time. All successful persons had a very strong decision making power once they decide they do it. Successful persons enjoy facing difficult and challenging tasks because high risk high gains. So by taking difficult tasks you can get maximum rewards and more career devolvement.

HARD WORK

Hard work plays a very important role in the life of a successful person because hard work is the only ability by which one can achieve his goals easily. RESPONSIBILITY

A person who is not responsible how he achieves his destination how he fulfills his job requirement so he never becomes a successful person for success sense of responsibility is very important. CONSISTENCY

Success is that when someone learns from you and you give a change to the life of a person. The mind and thoughts of a successful person are not limited he not think only about himself but he had to think about others for the betterment of others. Obviously success is inner satisfaction but if from your efforts other people take advantage in their lifes you say that it is success. If you are a successful person and other person do not learn from you or you do not play an important role in the devolvement of their lifes you are not a successful person. All the great and successful persons are very innovative, creative and hard worker. The decision power of a successful person is very strong and accurate. Successful persons had a planned life they achieve their objectives within the time. Success has no set standards each successful person has its own definition about success. Some one is a successful person due to his hard work one may be a successful because of its strong family background or a person may achieve a successful life due to his skills his born mind creativity. But Success is not more than your inner satisfaction if outsider peoples do not think that you are a successful person but your heart and your mind says that you are a successful person so you are a successful person but if people think that you are a successful person but by your inner self you think that you are not a successful person you are not satisfied so you never be a successful person.

If you are satisfied from your work then I think that you can consider your self a successful person. Success doesnt means monitory benefits. If my patient is satisfied from me then I think I am successful. My goal and aim is to establish a hospital to facilitate the local people who can easily came at any time. Family doesnt have a direct contribution but they play an important role. Professionally you cant depend totally on luck if you do not have any potential. Whenever you get success it motivates you to do more and more hard work. Time management is very important factor. You should have to give proper time to your family and do some extra curricular activities. As I play golf two hrs every day and at that time no one can disturb me. In my profession in some case it is difficult to manage time because of some emergency case. In my profession teamwork matters, doctors cannot handle the work alone; we enjoy working with a team. A successful person must have a commitment to his profession, and then he has to be honest with his clients. As a doctor my actual success is to be successful in my profession, if I am a good player of golf it doesnt have any relation with success in my profession or if have social contacts, it will be social aspect, it doesnt have any relation to success, but through success your social contacts may improve. Success affects your social life; people come to know about you and they expect more from you. If you are successful in other aspects of life but not successful in your profession then I think its not an achievement. Success increases workload and responsibilities.

To obtain a specific definition for success we developed the questionnaire so that success can be measured numerically and the level of importance can be measured of factors of success.
