UCAS will ask you if you are registering through Raffles Junior College. Select the Yes radio button and then select your class For graduated students whose classes are not listed in the drop-down menu, select I dont know

Under Raffles Girls/ Raffles Institution, select Institution add qualification >> Singapore-IntegratedProgramme English Language Qualification This is a critical step as the UK universities require this indication of your English Language y g g g proficiency Please refer the next slide for a screenshot

After saving your English Language Qualification you will return to the main screen Choose Other qualification type not in this list in order to begin adding the rest of your RP qualifications

For RP students, select Other (International Non-EU Qualifications)

RP students add the subjects accordingly (with the th exception of E li h Language) ti f English L ) The qualification date December of the year you were enrolled in Year 4

For the Exam (awarding body), RP students should indicate IP Sch For the Result, please give the Grade (A to F), as provided on your academic performance report rather than the Grade Point Ignore the Module/ Unit section

You can make a maximum of 5 course choices, with the following exception: If you apply to any of the following courses: Medicine Veterinary Medicine/ Veterinary Science Dentistry You can make 4 choices and a 5th choice in another course E.g. You may apply for 4 Medicine courses and 1 Bio Chemistry course Bio-Chemistry

Course Selection Cambridge & Oxford


You can apply to either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford, but not both You can only apply to read 1 course, no more

Reference
All UCAS applicants need to have 1 reference submitted in support of their application This reference should be submitted by your Civics Tutor Please submit your request for a reference early so that your CT has enough time y g Remember that only when you have completed your section of UCAS can your CT send the UCAS, application off

Payment for more than one course, university or college = 21 Payment for one course at one university or college = 11 You can make the payment with a credit card

Additional Tests & Requirements


Please check the entry requirements for the courses at the universities that you are applying to as some require that you sit additional aptitude or entry tests prior to submitting your application Several Law and Medicine programmes require applicants to sit for the LNAT and BMAT/ UKCAT respectively p y Please be aware of the test dates and plan accordingly you should sit for these tests in advance gy y of beginning/ submitting your UCAS application

Please register your details at the College Admissions Office if you wish to apply for Cambridge so we can track your application From 2011 the Cambridge Online Preliminary Application (COPA) replaces the 2011, hard-copy COAF Form though a hard-copy reference and transcripts must also be provided. Current students should look for updates or seek advice from a College Admissions Counsellor. Note on applications to the University of Cambridge GRADUATED STUDENTS


GRADUATED STUDENTS who are applying to Cambridge must do the following: Print and submit a Reference Cover Sheet (found on the Cambridge website), complete with your details, to your tutor, who will write your reference. This Cover Sheet must be accompanied by an envelope with your name, UCAS ID and the Cambridge College to which you are applying written on it. If g g y pp y g you are not applying to a specific college, please indicate, Open application. References will be submitted by tutors to the College Admissions Office and sent by courier in bulk on Sept 13. Please request your reference by Aug 23.

Submit Certified True Copies of their Record of Achievement (Raffles (Raffles Programme Year 4) or O Level Results, together with O Results your A Level Results and the Transcript Cover Sheet in an unsealed envelope. The envelope should also have your name, UCAS ID and the Cambridge College to which you are applying written on it. If you are not applying to a specific college, please indicate, Open. The deadline for submission of these documents is Sept 12. p Submit your COPA by Sept 20. Your UCAS application will be submitted by your tutor. yy

These documents can be submitted directly to the Year 5-6 General Office in Block H. You need not do this in person; a friend or family member can do this for you. If you need to certify documents as True Copies, please do so at the Student Affairs Centre, Level 1.
