How to define the type of number and the numbering plan for calling and called number when they are unknown?

Summary
When the Type of Number or the Number Plan are unknown, the QuesCom can change them to another value. These changes are made in the QuesCom registry base and only for ISDN calls (BRI or PRI).

Changing called number

Changing Type of Number

The Type of Number for the called number can be changed in the registry key. Follow these steps: Open a Telnet console on the QuesCom Type gwconfig Type cd isdn\Adapter.0 Depending of QuesCom, type: o 2 PRI: add REG_MULTI_SZ UnknownCalledTypeOfNumber=X;X o 4 BRI: add REG_MULTI_SZ UnknownCalledTypeOfNumber=X;X;X;X o 8 BRI: add REG_MULTI_SZ UnknownCalledTypeOfNumber=X;X;X;X;X;X;X;X If the QuesCom has 4 PRI ports, repeat the previous step for isdn\Adapter.1 Type exit, save the configuration and reboot Refer to 1.1 for Type of Number numeric value. Note The Type of Number can only be changed if it is not defined (Unknown) in the call.
