Nov. 1997 to Mar. 2004:


Joined M/s Highway Cycle Industries Ltd, Sahnewal as Engineer Trainee in Nov. 1997and after six months of training worked as Shift Incharge (Production) in Machine Shop. The job responsibilities included Development of new type of free wheels as per customer requirements and meeting Production Targets set by Top Management. At the same time, worked with GNS consultants from Madras for reducing the cost of production. Also worked as leader of 5s for implementation of 5s in Machine Shop, Press Shop and Cold Forging Unit during the same period. In March 2002, I was transferred to M/s Highway Industries Ltd. (Auto Division) as Sr. Engineer (QS) for Implementation and maintenance of system as per TS 16949 standard requirements. The company got certified for TS 16949 in year 2003. The responsibilities during the job were conducting Internal Audits and coordinating the audit activities by External Certification Agency. In the same tenure, also worked as trainer for providing systems training to the employees of organization.

April 2004 to February 2006:


Joined M/s Eastman Impex as Executive (Development) in May 2004 for new product development and new vendor development. The responsibility during the job was to develop new scaffolding components as per customer requirements at vendor end and help the vendors for procurement of raw material of required specifications. The responsibility also included to introduce new suppliers and develop their systems as per customer requirements.

March 2006 April 2008:


Joined M/s Highway Industries Ltd. as Asstt. Manager (Quality Systems) in March 2006 & worked on the same post till April 2009. The responsibilities include implementing the systems as per TS 16949 standards. Being DOL suppliers of M/s Hero Honda Motors Pvt. Ltd., the responsibility of maintaining the systems as per customer requirements was also the part of duty. To conduct the Internal Audits as per TS and DOL requirements was also the part of job. The Job responsibility also included coordinating with the customer and certification bodies for External Audits. The job profile included implementation 5s &TPM in the organization. Since the company was going for ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001certificaion, hence responsibility for documentation & maintenance of the systems accordingly was also part of duty. The additional responsibility for GSCM program coordination and Six Sigma Projects coordination was part of duty. The supplier Quality Management system development was also the part of job profile.

April 2008 to July 2010:


Joined M/s Eastman Cast & Forge as Management Representative in April 2008. The job profile included documentation and implementation of Integrated Management System for ISO9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. The scope of certification included Manufacturing & Supply of Hand Tools and Tractor Parts. The customer complaints handling was also the responsibility in addition to MR responsibilities. The responsibilities also included coordinating activities of TQM like 5s, Search Free Count Free, SMED and KAIZEN. The responsibility to maintain the product standards as per DIN & German Standard was also included in job responsibility. The company was audited for ISO 9001and ISO 14001 certification in the month of November 2010 from M/s BSI Management Systems Pvt. Ltd. and got certified for both the standards. The company recertification audit for German Standards for products was also conducted in Nov. 2010 by M/s TUV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd. and company got certified for GS Product standard also during this tenure as MR. Being the DOL suppliers of M/s Hero Honda Motors Pvt. Ltd. & M/s JOHN DEERE, the responsibility of maintaining the systems as per customer requirements was also the part of duty.

August 2010 to till Date:


Joined M/s Munjal Castings (a Hero Group of Companies) as Asstt. MR in January 2011 for system implementation and maintenance as per TS16949 and customer requirements. The company was engaged in casting of Auto components and other engineering components for companies like M/s Tata Motors, M/s Dialmer Chrysler and M/s General Motors etc. Since the company is planning to implement systems as per ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2008 hence responsibility for documentation & maintenance of the systems.

Attended the training program on awareness about ISO 9001 in the year 1998 conducted by M/s Hero Corporate. Attended the training program for Internal Auditors for conducting audits as per ISO 9001 Standard requirements in the year 1998 conducted by M/s Hero Corporate. Attended the training program on Total Productive Maintenance in year 1999 conducted by M/s Hero Corporate. Attended the five days workshop on KAIZEN conducted by Kaizen Institute of India in year 2000. Attended the training program on Industrial safety at M/s Hero Cycles in 2001. Attended the Training program on TS 16949 awareness conducted by M/s Hero Corporate in 2002. Attended the training program for Internal Auditors for conducting audits as per TS 16949 standard requirements in the year 2002 conducted by M/s Hero Corporate. Attended two days training program on Core Tools (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, MSA & SPC) conducted by M/s Vermani Consultants in the year 2002. Attended the training program on Customer Satisfaction conducted by M/s Narula Consultants in the year 2003. Attended training program on Communication Techniques &Leadership Qualities in 2004. Attended the training program on awareness about ISO 14001 in the year 2005 conducted by M/s PJR Certifications at Bangalore.
