FINDING MOTIVATION
Motivation questions invite the person to 'step back' and reect on what's behind their actions. Motivation questions reveal frames of mind. These frames of mind set the criteria of how a person thinks, feels, speaks, and acts in the world around them.

MOTIVATION QUESTIONS
The questions are: What is important to you about...? What do you believe about...? What does X mean to you? What do you appreciate about...? What do you realize about...? What is your intention behind...? For what purpose is...?

In partnerships where you help your partner nd out their motivation values and vice versa. 1. Ask what activity they enjoy doing. Note 3 or 4 aspects.

FINDING MOTIVATION PRACTICE SESSION

2. For each aspect, ask, "What is important to you about about that?" 3. Find the end values for each aspect. 4. Eliminate each end value and ask if the person would still continue the activity. 5. Find the key motivation values.

DECISION PROCESS
People go through a process of making decisions. If you provide information that is in the format that person prefers to make a decision, you are communicating effectively.

In paired partnerships, ask about recent decisions with the question, "How/When do you know if it was the right decision?" Listen for Seeing, Hearing, Feeling, or Self-Talk words.

Deal with future challenging situations with condence. Develop self management capabilities. Planning Your Goals - 28/09/2011 This two-hour session helps you set your goals to get exactly what you want. Crystallize your short and long term plans. Align your unconscious mind to your conscious goals.
