Mission Trip (part 3) Weve safely arrived back in England after a really wonderful 3 weeks. Thanks so much for your prayers! The last week was the highlight of the trip the Adventure-English camp for 30-35 Romanian teenagers. It was a very encouraging time, with lots of progress made by many of the teenagers. There were Gospel talks followed by discussion groups in the mornings, and lots of opportunities for conversations with individuals during the day. All the teenagers seemed to enjoy the camp and want to come back in future. Although most of them considered themselves Christians beforehand (90% of the population are Romanian Orthodox), many of them came to understand key Gospel truths for the first time, and were keen to find out more. We were particularly encouraged by two girls who professed faith for the first time Madalina and Petronella. In a wonderful stroke of providence, a member of our team won a Vespa Scooter by buying an ice-cream (the first time any of us has won a competition), and has decided to give the money to enable some of the Romanian team to come to camps in the UK and be trained up. Thank God for: Smooth running of the adventure-English camp and unity between the Romanian and English leaders Faithful and clear Gospel talks and good engagement in groups Madalina, who professed faith during camp and is addicted to reading the Bible for herself Petronella who decided to live for Jesus during camp, and her boyfriend of 4 years, George, who did not come to camp but had lunch with some of us and was extremely interested Alex and Emmy (both boys) who both made big steps in their understanding of Christianity, and are thinking about coming to Metanoia church Ana-Maria who was challenged to think about the good news of Christianity, and has been encouraged to read the Bible for herself Many of the Romanian leaders who were struck by the importance and urgency of sharing the Gospel with individuals Gods provision of some money to train up Romanian leaders for Gospel service

Please pray for: Opportunities for follow-up for Sam and the Romanian team especially for a camp reunion being planned for 2-4 weeks time. For some to stick at Metanoia church Madalina and Petronella to stand firm for Jesus, and especially to move to a Bible teaching church a very difficult thing to do for both of them Others to make a clear commitment to Christ, especially for Ana-Maria, Alex and Emmy Training of youth leaders week by week, and at camps in England next year
