Managerial Usefulness of the Study

As the outcomes of my research I humbly submit that this research can help the organization in the following ways:-

1. This project helps the company in increasing its sales. 2. It helps the management in Fixation of credit period. 3. The company should know the rival in the market. They should formulate the sale promotion policies and objectives. 4. It helps the management building up its marketing strategy.

5. It helps the management, according to the behaviour of buyers the company should formulate price fixation. 6. It helps the management to boost the morale of middleman. 7. It helps the management to know the sales potential for sports shoes in Haryana state. 8. It helps the company to identify the factors which satisfy the distributors and retailers needs.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

MEANING OF RESEARCH:
Research is defining or redefining problem, formulate the hypothesis, collect, organize and evaluate the data making deduction and induction reach to conclusion and interprets the conclusion as whether the fit with the solution or not.

Sampling Unit:
I conducted my research work in sirsa and my sample include retailers and distributors of vita.

Sample Size: This refers to the number of items to be selected from the universe to constitute a sample. Due to limitation of time and money, it is not possible to contact to each and every individual retailer and distributor in the city. Keeping in mind these constraints, a total sample size of 50 respondents (25 retailers and 2 distributers) is considered appropriate to keep the sample accurate as well as manageable.

Sampling Technique: The sample includes 25 retailers and 25 distributors. The sampling method, I used, for the study is convenience sampling. But still I tried my best to choose such a sample, which fulfil all the characteristics of the universe.

DATA COLLECTION METHOD


I have collected primary as well as secondary data for my study.

Primary Data:

A lot of information was collected by filling up a specially made questionnaire the subject. For this, different areas were visited in the entire city so as to get information on the subject.

Secondary Data:

Secondary source like books, journals, unpublished and published material from different department of the company were consulted. I also availed the service of Internet for various products and services.

Objectives Of The Study: There are following objectives of the study: To find out awareness of various products among respondents. To know satisfaction level of the respondents. To know choice of the respondents. To know the promotional activities about vita products. Which benefits retailers and distributors want to derive from vita products. Relationship between retailers, distributors and customers.

Interpretation
During the survey , it has to came light that milk sale is the best in the city , where as other products of vita are also sold by the respondent but other products are not old in comparison to milks quality .

Interpretation:Survey transpired that most of the retailers respondents were satisfied with Vita Milk products where as only two respondent were having some complaints, Which meant that companys products are good.

Interpretation:Survey transit an astonishing fact that most of the retailer / respondents were satisfy with Vita milk products but not satisfy with the companys services. They have problems with companys services.

Interpretation:During the survey this came into the light that retailer respondent are facing problem regarding non availability in season and poor dealer network., retailer themselves go to the dealer s shop to purchase the vita products most to the customers were having both of these problems.

Interpretation:During the survey this fact came into light that retailers/ respondents are not provided any advertisement material 17 respondent nodded for yes, where as 8 were provided advertisement material.

Interpretation:During the survey this fact came into light that retailers/ respondent are not provided any promotional schemes, 23 respondents told that they are not provided any scheme, whereas only 2 were ever provided promotional scheme.

Interpretation:During the survey this fact came into light that companys executive visits only two nominal retailers 20 retailer admitted that no companys executive ever visited them. Only 5 admitted that executives visit them fortnightly or monthly.
