I. General information Name: Mara de Los ngeles Sandoval Ramos.

Bachelor in English Language Subject: Management of Technological Resources for the Teaching and Administration of the English Language (Part III) Activity: Project 3: Teaching Perspective Inventory San Salvador, 14 August 2011 II. Introduction The Teaching perspective Inventory makes teacher being aware of their own teaching profile and based on some perspectives or some different point of view that measure the belief, intentions and actions of the teacher. III. Description of the results Teaching Perspective Profile: Individual My score in TPP is individual and according to the this my dominant area is apprenticeship which turned out above 37 and my recesive (26 points above) area is social reform which is over 23 points. My equal areas are: developmental, transmission, and nurturing with 33, 31 and 29 respectively. Now I m going to explain every area and how are they important at the moment I am going to plan a class or develop it. Apprenticeship (40 points) Expertise on what I teach is my dominant area because I consider that a good teacher must be an expert in a specific area. In that way I can transmit to my students from simple to complex. As apprenticeship I know how to lead to my students by helping them at the beginning and then let them go by themselves without too much help that means that they will mature from dependent learners to independent learners by becoming more competent. In here my belief are high because I do really have great expectations on transmitting the content to students on taking them from simpler ways of learning to complex. My intentions on accomplish this are high too and because of that my actions on getting students on learning in this way are stronger than normal. Developmental (33 points)

I as a teacher must focus the content of the knowledge from the students point of view by bringing them examples, cases, problems and questions for them to comprehend better the content and by doing this their way of thinking will be going from the simpler way to more complex and sophisticated way of understanding the structure of the contend. According to my scores my belief and actions in this area are strong but my intentions getting that is not so strong that is why I think I will take decision based on what I see on students. Transmission (31 points) By giving students the accurate content on what teachers - in this case I - are maters, based on goals students will learn the appropriate way of the contend. Teachers must be enthusiastic in that way students can may that specific transmission something memorable for them. My belief on this part of my way on teaching are strong because I do believe in transmitting the content but in an appropriate and accurate way that why my intentions on doing this are strong and I will take the accurate actions on transmitting students and reaching the goals and objectives for the students. Nurturing (29 points) Motivation leads to production and that is the main meaning of this area. Teacher must make feel students that they can give a try at learning without being afraid to make mistake or failure. Here the teacher must encourage students because they might have lower self steam. Challenges should be put it into practice to overcome the barrier of the learning and make reference to the effort to achieve the goals. I do not have too much intention on getting feel students comfortable but I do believe this is necessary taking into account for they being independent in the learning area. Even though I will take the necessaries actions to accomplish goals based on the students efforts. Social reform (23 points) This is my lower area and this one seeks for changes in the community through the students while these are learning. The collective is imposed over the individual. Students are lead to critical thinking for then take social actions. I do not believ to much in seeking good results in students to help society. I do not have intentions in develop critical thinking on students the community that is why I will not take actions in developing that.

IV. Conclusion According to my teacher perspective inventory I got the individual profile, that turned out form different questions that I responded honestly and according to what I have done in previous experience giving classes I am sure that is the appropriate profile to me.
