Results of the survey into the availability of OH&S Standards and Certificates, up until 2009-12-31
1. Introduction

Following the success of the surveys on standards and certificates that have been conducted in previous years the OHSAS Project requested to conduct a similar survey for 2009. A summary of the results is presented below, with the full data given on the next page of this file.

For several reasons, the OHSAS Project Group was unable to receive inputs from a number of the contributors to the 2007 survey. be taken into account when analysing the 2009 data. Additionally, while a number of contributors gave separate indications of OHSA 18001:1999 versus OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications, overall we had insufficient data on this separation, so have chosen to combin The growth in the number of certificates has been significant over this period with approximately a 70% rise in comparison to 2007.
