Agrowisata dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan masyarakat pedesaan

Comment in detail:

1. Title: judul terlalu singkat, sehingga belum terlihat secara jelas jika ini sebuah
karya tulis ilmiah, bukan artikel populer. Tambahkan kalimat di judul sbb: (Studi
kasus : Al-Baqura, sebuah anak sungai pertanian di Timur Yordania).
2. Title: the title is too short, so it is not clear if this is a scientific paper, not a
popular article. Add the following sentence in the title: (Case study: Al-Baqura,
an agricultural tributary in East Jordan).
3. Abstract: Pada kalimat pembuka sudah cukup baik menunjukkan konsep
agrowisata, namun karena keterbatasan jumlah kata dalam abstrak, kurangi
beberapa kalimat diawal mengenai konsep pentingnya agrowisata, cukup 1
kalimat saja dan pilih mana yang paling penting untuk menunjukkan latar
belakang dari penelitian ini terkait agrowisata. Saran saya, pilih kalimat awal
“Agritourism in developing countries is considered to be an instrument not only
for sustainable rural development but also for local community poverty
alleviation.” Kalimat sebelum ini dihapus saja. Lanjut pada permasalahan apa
yang kerap terjadi di sungai pertanian Al-Baqura, tunjukkan beberapa masalah
krusial di kawasan tersebut sehingga pada akhirnya penting di lakukan penelitian
mengenai agrowisata dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan
masyarakat pedesaan. Pada akhirnya tujuan penelitian akan terlihat jelas dan
tetap di sebutkan dalam asbtrak. Setelah itu ungkapkan metode yang digunakan
secara singkat. Sebutkan hasil dan pembahasan secara ringkas dan padat,
kemudian lanjut dengan memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan apa yang
seharusnya di lakukan pemerintah atau pelaku kepentingan terkait. Ubah abstrak
dengan membuat susunan kalimat secara sistematis, mulai dari latar belakang
 pentingnya agrowisata, masalah, tujuan penelitian, metode, hasil dan bahasan,
hingga rekomendasi. Buang kalimat yang tidak perlu, untuk memenuhi syarat
jumlah maksimal kata dalam asbtrak.
4. Abstract: In the opening sentence it is good enough to show the concept of agro-
tourism, but due to the limited number of words in the abstract, reduce the first
few sentences about the concept of the importance of agro-tourism, just one
sentence and choose which one is most important to show the background of
this research related to agro-tourism. My advice, choose the first sentence
“Agritourism in developing countries is considered to be an instrument not only
for sustainable rural development but also for local community poverty
alleviation.” The previous sentence deleted only. Continuing on what problems
often occur in the Al-Baqura agricultural river, point out some crucial problems in
the area so that in the end it is important to do research on agro-tourism in
supporting the sustainable development of rural communities. In the end, the
research objectives will be clearly visible and still be stated in the abstract. After
that, briefly describe the method used. State the results and discussion briefly
and concisely, then proceed with providing policy recommendations on what the
government or relevant stakeholders should do. Change the abstract by
systematically arranging sentences, starting from the background of the
importance of agro-tourism, problems, research objectives, methods, results and
discussions, to recommendations. Remove unnecessary sentences, to qualify
the maximum number of words in the abstract.
5. Pendahuluan: pembahasan dalam pendahuluan sangat lengkap dan detil.
Namun karena ini sebuah karya tulis ilmiah dalam jurnal, bukan merupakan
laporan kajian/kegiatan, sebaiknya gunakan format pendahuluan yang umum
digunakan dalam sebuah jurnal. Lihat panduan penulisan di OPAG. Saran saya:
sub bab dalam pendahuluan hilangkan, pilih kalimat-kalimat penting saja yang
menunjukkan konsep dan pengertian agrowisata, pentingnya agrowisata di
Yordan dengan permasalahan yang seringkali terjadi, kemudian apa tujuan
penelitian ini, sehingga alur cerita akan terbentuk secara sistematis pada
pendahuluan, yaitu pentingnya agrowisata di teliti di daerah Al-Baqura dan
 masalah apa yang terjadi sehingga perlu di lakukan penelitian dengan tujuan
tertentu terkait pembangunan berlelanjutan pada masyarakat setempat. Gambar-
gambar pada pendahuluan akan lebih baik di taruh pada bagian lampiran, atau
bagian hasil dan pembahasan. Revisi pendahuluan sesuai saran.
6. Introduction: the discussion in the introduction is very complete and detailed.
However, because this is a scientific paper in a journal, not a study/activity
report, it is better to use the introductory format commonly used in a journal. See
the writing guide on OPAG. My suggestion: omit the sub-chapters in the
introduction, choose only important sentences that show the concept and
understanding of agro-tourism, the importance of agro-tourism in Jordan with the
problems that often occur, then what is the purpose of this research, so that the
storyline will be formed systematically in the introduction, namely the importance
of Agrotourism is researched in the Al-Baqura area and what problems occur, so
it is necessary to conduct research with specific objectives related to sustainable
development in the local community. The pictures in the introduction would be
better placed in the appendix, or the results and discussion section. Do revision
at introduction as suggested.
7. Material and Methods: penentuan metode oke-oke saja, namun tetap harus
berdasarkan teori apa atau teori siapa atau teori mana yang menjadi acuan
sehingga digunakan metode tersebut dalam penelitian Anda. Begitupun dengan
penentuan aspek-aspek seperti dampak, dsb perkuat juga dengan penelitian
terdahulu yang menggunakan aspek/indikator yang sama atau berbeda,
sehingga peneliti dapat menunjukkan justifikasi ilmiah dalam menentukan
metode apa serta instrumen apa yang digunakan dalam penelitiannya.
Prinsipnya, dalam sebuah karya tulis ilmiah, metode atau instrumen yang
ditentukan harus berdasarkan justifikasi ilmiah, dan hal ini tentunya di dukung
oleh teori dan penelitian terdahulu.
8. Materials and Methods: determining the method is okay, but it still has to be
based on what theory or whose theory or which theory is the reference so that
the method is used in your research. Likewise, the determination of aspects
such as impact, etc., also strengthens with previous research that uses the same
 or different aspects/indicators, so that researchers can show scientific
justification in determining what methods and instruments are used in their
research. In principle, in a scientific paper, the method or instrument that is
determined must be based on scientific justification, and this is of course
supported by previous theories and research.
9. Sebelum “data analysis”, buat sub bab “waktu dan tempat penelitian”, serta
“sumber dan koleksi data”. Jelaskan secara detil dan jelas, diperkuat dengan
alasan ilmiah atau keterbatasan penelitian. Jadi, dalam materials and methods
terdiri dari: waktu dan tempat penelitian, sumber dan koleksi data, analisis data.
Lakukan revisi ini dengan teliti.
10. Before “data analysis”, make sub chapters “time and place of research”, and
“sources and data collection”. Explain in detail and clearly, supported by
scientific reasons or research limitations. So, the materials and methods consist
of: time and place of research, sources and data collection, data analysis. Do
this revision carefully.
11. Data analysis: sekali lagi, agar terlihat ilmiah sebuah penelitian, alat statistik
apapun yang digunakan, tunjukkan dengan teori terkait. Kemudian, dalam
menentukan interpretasi korelasi dalam statistik deskriptif, sebaiknya indikator
yang digunakan jangan berjumlah ganjil, karena jumlah indikator yang ganjil
menyebabkan kecenderungan responden memilih yang nilai (indikator) yang
tengah/sedang, sehingga hasilnya cenderung bias atau tidak terlalu signifikan.
Buang 1 korelasi spearman yaitu yang level “sedang”, sehingga korelasi
spearman cukup 4 saja yaitu sangat lemah, lemah, kuat, sangat kuat.
12. Data analysis: perlu dibuat menjadi 3 bagian sub bab yaitu: “Analisis Deskriptif”;
“Spearman Correlation Cofficient”, and “Regression Model”, jelaskan secara
ringkas dan padat bagaimana mekanisme penggunaan ketiga metode tersebut,
lihat isinya sebagian di bagian “research finding”, diperkuat dengan teori terkait
dan penelitian terdahulu.
13. Data analysis: once again, to make a research look scientific, whatever statistical
tools are used, show it with related theories. Then, in determining the
interpretation of correlation in descriptive statistics, it is better not to use an odd
 number of indicators, because the odd number of indicators causes the
respondent's tendency to choose the middle/medium value (indicator), so the
results tend to be biased or not too significant. Discard 1 Spearman correlation,
which is the "medium" level, so that there are only 4 Spearman correlations,
namely very weak, weak, strong, very strong.
14. Data analysis: it needs to be divided into 3 sub-chapters, namely: “Descriptive
Analysis”; “Spearman Correlation Cofficient”, and “Regression Model”, briefly
and concisely explain how the mechanism of using these three methods, see the
contents in part in the “research finding” section, strengthened by related theories
and previous research.
15. Research sample: sebagian isi dari research sample merupakan bagian dari
material and methods yaitu pada sub bab sumber dan koleksi data, sedangkan
sebagian lainnya merupakan bagian dari hasil dan pembahasan. Sehingga tidak
perlu ada suh bab research sampel, pindahkan sebagian isinya ke dalam sub
bab sumber dan koleksi data, dan sebagian lainnya ke dalam hasil dan
pembahasan, revisi sesuai saran.
16. Research sample: some of the contents of the research sample are part of the
materials and methods, namely in the sources and data collection sub-chapters,
while others are part of the results and discussion. So that there is no need for a
sample research chapter, move some of its contents into the source and data
collection sub-chapter, and the other part into the results and discussion, revised
according to suggestions.
17. Research finding ubah menjadi “results and discussion”. Isi sub bab nya saya
sarankan pada point no…..

19. Analisis deskriptif: hasilnya lengkap dan sudah oke. Namun, dalam deskripsinya
bukan menyebutkan ulang angka-angka pada tabel hasil, namun
mendeskripsikan interpretasi dari hasil-hasil tsb, sbb: apa makna hasil dari
variabel-variabel tersebut, apa dampaknya, apa implikasinya, apa alasannya,
apa manfaatnya, dsb. Bisa diperkuat dengan teori atau penelitian terdahulu.
20. Descriptive analysis: the results are complete and okay. However, the
description does not mention the numbers in the results table, but describes the
interpretation of the results, as follows: what is the meaning of the results of
these variables, what are their effects, what are the implications, what are the
reasons, what are the benefits, etc. Can be strengthened by theory or previous
research.
21. Spearman correlation coefficient: bukan hanya menyebutkan hasilnya saja,
namun interpretasikan hasil tersebut. Misalnya: mengapa variabel-variabel
siginfikan atau tidak signifikan, apa penyebabnya, apa dampaknya, apa
implikasinya, dsb. Kemudian mengapa hasil hubungan antara variabel penelitian
negatif atau positif, apa penyebabnyq, apa dampaknya, apa implikasinya, dsb.
Perkuat dengan teori dan penelitian terdahulu.
22. Spearman correlation coefficient: not only mention the results, but interpret the
results. For example: why are the variables significant or insignificant, what is
the cause, what is the impact, what are the implications, etc. Then why is the
result of the relationship between the research variables negative or positive,
what is the cause, what is the impact, what are the implications, etc. Reinforce
with theory and previous research.
23. Paper in sungguh tidak konsisten. Penjelasan penggunaan metode regresi
secara detil harusnya di ungkapkan pada bagian metode, bukan pada bagian
hasil. Selain itu, model regresi yang dihasilkan juga tidak jelas. Karena di awal,
belum di jelaskan secara rinci dan detil. Revisi besar perlu dilakukan pada hasil
ya g menggunakan metode regresi, seperti: apa saja variabel dependen dan
independen nya, bagaimana model nya, apa hubungannya antar variabel, dsb
sesuai dengan teori regresi yang Anda sadur. Kemudian, interpretasikan hasil
dari model tersebut, misalnya apa maknanya, apa dampaknya, apa implikasinya
dengan alasan-alasan yang diungkapkan boleh didukung dengan teori dan
penelitian terdahulu.
24. The paper in is really inconsistent. A detailed explanation of the use of the
regression method should be disclosed in the methods section, not in the results
section. In addition, the resulting regression model is also not clear. Because at
 the beginning, it has not been explained in detail and in detail. Major revisions
need to be made to the results using the regression method, such as: what are
the dependent and independent variables, what is the model, what is the
relationship between variables, etc. according to the regression theory that you
adapted. Then, interpret the results of the model, for example, what is the
meaning, what is the impact, what are the implications with the reasons stated
may be supported by theory and previous research.
25. Judul sub bab pada hasil dan pembahasan di sarankan sbb: ubah sub judul
“analisis deskriptif” menjadi “Dampak Ekonomi, Sosial dan Lingkungan pada
Variabel yang Mempengaruhi Agrowisata”; ubah dan satukan sub judul
“Spearman Correlation Coefficient” dan “Regression Model” menjadi 1 sub judul
“Dinamika hubungan antara variabel-variabel penentu Agrowisata dengan
Pembangunan Berkelanjutan Masyarakat Pedesaan”. Hasilnya sesuaikan
dengan yang sudah ada, deskripsikan interpretasinya sesuai saran saya pada
point-point sebelumnya.
26. The title of the sub-chapter on the results and discussion is suggested as follows:
change the sub-heading "descriptive analysis" to "Economic, Social and
Environmental Impacts on Variables Affecting Agrotourism"; change and unify
the subtitles "Spearman Correlation Coefficient" and "Regression Model" into 1
subtitle "The dynamics of the relationship between the determinants of
Agrotourism and Sustainable Development of Rural Communities". The results
are adjusted to the existing ones, describe the interpretation according to my
suggestions in the previous points.
27. Kesimpulan: jangan mengulang tujuan penelitian di dalam kesimpulan, karena
posisi ini merupakan bagian dari pendahuluan. Buatlah kesimpulan dari hasil
riset seperti: variabel apa saja yang secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap
agrowisata dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan masyarakat
pedesaan, bagaimana pengaruhnya, apa dampaknya, apa implikasinya, dsb.
Kemudian setelah mempertimbangkan masalah yang kerap kali tejadi dalam
agrowisata di Al-Baqura, berikan rekomendasi kebijakan seperti apa yang
menurut Anda sesuai untuk pemerintah setempat atau pemangku kepentingan
 lainnya dalam mengembangkan agrowisata yang mendukung pembangunan
berkelanjutan masyarakat pedesaan di Al-Baqura.
28. Conclusion: do not repeat the research objective in the conclusion, because this
position is part of the introduction. Draw conclusions from the research results,
such as: what variables have a significant effect on agro-tourism in supporting
the sustainable development of rural communities, how does it affect, what are
the impacts, what are the implications, etc. Then after considering the problems
that often occur in agro-tourism in Al-Baqura, provide policy recommendations as
to what you think is appropriate for the local government or other stakeholders in
developing agro-tourism that supports the sustainable development of rural
communities in Al-Baqura.
29. References: tambahkan pustaka OPAG minimal 5 judul yang terkait dengan
agrowisata/pembangunan berkelanjutan/masyarakat pedesaan,
30. References: add a minimum of 5 OPAG libraries related to
agro-tourism/sustainable development/rural communities.

Comment in general:

Setelah, saya baca dan pelajari secara rinci, karya tulis ilmiah ini belum lengkap
informasi-informasi di dalam tiap sub bab-nya. Paper ini juga tidak konsisten
substansinya/sistematika berfikirnya. Banyak point yang tertukar antara satu sub bab
dengan sub bab lainnya. Sehingga dengan alasan tersebut, naskah ini perlu di revisi
berat atau dilakukan perubahan besar atau memodifikasi sesuai dengan saran-saran
saya pada setiap point.

After, I read and studied in detail, this scientific paper is not complete with the
information in each of its sub-chapters. This paper is also inconsistent in its
substance/systematic thinking. Many points are swapped between one sub-chapter
with other sub-chapters. So for that reason, this manuscript needs to be heavily revised
or major changes made or modified according to my suggestions at each point.
Rekomendasi: memiliki peluang diterima jika saran yang diberikan di akomodir. Karena
naskah ini perlu perbaikan berat, sehingga jika tidak diperbaiki sesuai saran, belum
layak untuk terbit di OPAG.

Recommendations: have a chance of being accepted if the suggestions given are

accommodated. Because this manuscript needs serious revision, so if it is not
corrected according to the suggestions, it is not yet worthy to be published in OPAG.
