Our project for this month will again be School Kits. Thank you for your contribution! Yoders at 6 p.m. Earl Wise, a youth pastor from Reading will share the story of his journey to finding real life in Christ. Sept. 25, Sun.-Hymn Sing outside at the Hans Herr House, 5 p.m. Please join song leaders Harold Hess & Glenn Lehman for a lovely evening of your favorite hymns. Special music, 70 min. for your requests and then a bonfire with marshmallows! Please bring a chair and the Church Hymnal, Church & Sunday School Hymnal and Life Songs 2 as you are able. Hinkletown Mennonite School Benefit Auction will be held. Fri. from 4-8 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m. Oct. 14, 15, & 16, Fri. & Sat. 7 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m.-We invite your prayers and participation in our church's annual Spiritual Renewal Services. This year our resource person is David Eshleman, who is a church consultant for Lancaster Mennonite Conference and EMM. He has pastored urban and rural growing Mennonite Congregations for nearly fifty years. A snack will follow the Fri. & Sat. evening services. -If you would like to be added or taken off the list for greeters(handing out bulletins between church and Sunday School) please check the sign up sheet on the table in the narthex. -Woodcrest Retreat is looking for Seamstresses who would be willing to sew Biblical Costumes for Journey to Bethlehem, a walk through live nativity that is being planned for Dec. 16 & 17. The fabric and the patterns are provided. Notebooks and practice CDs are on the table in the narthex. -The Released Time Bible program for Adamstown Elementary school students will be beginning again here at Gehman on Sept. 21st.
