By Ankit Bhattacharya Last edited last Monday Edit Doc this is wt i managed 2 know 4m some of our seniors or batchmates who hv cmpltd their ilps at various places like ambattur,trivandrum,ahmdbd etc *everyone is asking about wearing ties..so as far as i managed to know,on mondays,presentation days,seminar days,"meet ur hr" sessions,interview cum viva days,it is strictly advised 2 wear ties. *TCSL will not be responsible for the travel arrangements to the Training Centre. Also, the travel expenses will NOT be reimbursed by TCSL *Linkedin is the only social networking site which we can access 4m tcs...Or be it other company...Not even ur gmail....This shows the importance of networking...As in a group we are getting joining n posting in different places...So we can grow our networking by adding each other 4m nw ....So keep inviting each other on linkedin... *u hv to open an account after joining to avail ur salary..standard,kotak,hdfc,icici are the option depending upon ilp centres..bt b4 everything,,alwz calculate the payroll timesheets in time through ultimatix,,othrws ur salary will get delayed :( *Every year Tcs celebrates a family day...Where each employee can bring upto four family members and make them visit whole tcs campus and their cubicle where they used to work...At this particular day free transport service and free food is provided by company plus a picnic organized by company at water park or something like that..Free of cost..Full masti... *Around 18+k is what tcs is paying in ilp 4 people wdout acmdtn..the ones who wl be getng acmdtn will not get HRA and any sort of "va". *Food is available at subsidized rates and expenses towards the same have to be borne by you (the trainees). *Trainees are given time off after the ILP training and there is a relocation gap of maximum 4 days. The trainees have to take care of their own travel arrangements. The Second A/C train fare from the ILP Training centre to the respective base branch shall be reimbursed by TCS . *16 day earned leave,7 casual leave,10 day sick leave for tcs employee in a year...That too max leave of continuous 5 day is allowed in per quarter..I.E 3 months... *Loan upto 30k for house rent surety agreement i.E pagadi is given by tcs for zero percent intrest...But should be payed within a year....And this is the only loan..No other loan.. *After one year in tcs...U can take leave upto one year continous but without pay...But u will continue as a employee...Gud in case of emergency...They wont throw u out... *For girls going in tcs is dream comming true...Some of the advantages are...Four months leave in pregnancy period..Come late and leave early plan..Do work from home plan...And various other packages of leave too...But all applicable after marriage only... *One of the intresting rule in party organised by tcs every month....You can get drink in unlimited amount but u shouldn't get drunk... ( LOL ) *Option of beer n whisky is there...But nt at frequent interval...But at odd interval parties...

* they celebrate party in taj...Once a year...Applicable if taj is in ur city..like-Chennai is applicable...Taj coromondal.. *Tcs has a tieup with indian airlines....Returning from abroad you are allowed to bring 25% extra with respect to other passengers...That mean more gift for your frndz n family...N more celebration!!! *u can carry ur laptops.palmtops etc wd u.. *Dont carry any books with u in ilp...Its all there in ilp library....Vry much in no...besides,,8 various newspapers -each in 4 numbers are available..so hv fun.. :-)
