    Bacchus is the new generation of Bacchianer. We decided to extend this nice, friendly and relaxing lifestyle to everyone in Singapore. Guests will get to enjoy Germanys finest selection of wine and food while in the proximity of the beautiful furnishings of Germanys rich wine culture. Come on down and join us in our new establishment at 86 Robertson on the nice Singapore river, oposite side of River view Hotel, where it will add a little zest to your everyday lives! THE LOGO The Roman god of wine inspired the concept of Bacchus (of which the restaurant is named after). In ancient times, it was said that those who drank wines would literally end up having different personas after each session, such as freeing one from ones normal self. The mascot that comes along with Bacchus was engendered to complement the representation of Germanys relaxed and minimalist approach towards drinking wine. Combined with a relatively tipsy expression; the mascot exudes a relaxed and satisfied stature that closely identifies to the restaurants theme of a relaxed and contemporary outlook. The grapes that were draped across the mascots forehead suggested a prominence of Germanys rich wine culture, which is apparent in the restaurant furnishings
