PRAYER AND PRAISE

Pray that the Lord would heal Jim Baker of all his cancer and other illnesses, and restore the strength of his youth. Please pray for Stella, as she continues to mourn and adjust to the loss of her husband Jack. Please pray that the Lord would use the upcoming Stars Party to bring new people into His family and His church. The Alliance churches in Spain have strong connections with the developing works in Italy. Pray for Gods direction and provision for the workers (mainly immigrants) in Italy who are starting congregations in the country. Pray that the churches in Spain will be of encouragement and help to their sister churches in Italy. Pray that the Lord will work in the lives of troubled families in our community. Give us the strength and courage to reach out to those in need and offer our help willingly and without reserve.

The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service in the Creche, and 5-13 year olds are dismissed part way through the service for Sunday School. The Comfort of the Holy Spirit

CMA Celebration
Every year, people from Alliance churches all over Auckland gather for one weekend of special praise and power as we hear about what God has been doing in our movement in the past year, and what Hes leading us to do in the coming months and years. This Celebration from October 14-16 will be fabulous as we have Roland and Nancy Lumawag coming to share with us about their lives and ministries in Thailand and the amazing and challenging things that God is doing through them.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Comforter. Whenever peace enters your heart in the midst of grief... Whenever joy enters your heart in the midst of a trial... Whenever you see evidence of His life in yours You can be sure the Holy Spirit is flowing through your life. Can He forget you? Never. The seal of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, is on your life if you are His child. Whenever you pass through a room or walk through a crowd, His oil of gladness sends a sweet aroma of Christ through the air! Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-5. How can you show the comfort of Christ to someone who is hurting?

MINISTRIES FOR CHILDREN at WHAC

Ages 0-1 Ages 2-4 Ages 5 - 13 If you need to take your infant out of the service, a play area has been set up in the foyer for your convenience. The Preschool ministry begins at the start of the service, and is located diagonally to the left as you exit the sanctuary. Kids club takes place in the hall during the sermon. A notice will appear on the screen when it is time to dismiss your children.

If youd like to join the church choir, new members are still welcome as individual parts for both songs weve learned can be found on YouTube to practice at home.

Stars Party is coming!

Once again, Stars Party is being hosted by Westgate Baptist church, and with over 1,600 people in attendance last year, the Massey area churches need our help! Sign up sheets are available on the morning tea table, and any time you can give, or childrens clothes you can donate, is greatly appreciated!
