Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah dan langkah retorika dalam teks monolog dengan menggunakan ragam bahasa tulis secara akurat, lancar dan berterima dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dalam teks berbentuk narrative.

C. Indikator:

Siswa diharapkan memiliki kemampuan untuk:


- Mengubah kalimat dari Direct Speech ke Indirect Speech atau pun sebaliknya. - Membuat kalimat Direct & Indirect speech. - Membuat kalimat Past Continuous Tense.

D. Tujuan Pembelajaran:

Siswa mampu memahami struktur Direct & Indirect speech, Past Continuous Tense dan membuat contoh kalimat dari masing-masing. (jujur, bertanggung jawab, percaya diri)
E. Materi Pembelajaran

Direct & Indirect Speech Simple Present Tense Simple Past Tense

Direct Speech - Dicky said, I want to go to Bellas house. - Ines said, My mother gives me a doll. - Mahbub said, I and Panji play football in the field. Past Continuous Tense S + to be + Ving. S + to be + not + Ving. To be + S + Ving? Example: (+) I was studying. (-) I was not studying. (?) Was I studying?

Indirect Speech - Dicky said that he wanted to go to Bellas house. - Ines said that her mother gave her a doll. - Mahbub said that he and Panji played football in the field.

Simple Past Tense + While + Past Continuous Tense Example: I watched TV while my mother was cooking in the kitchen. Past Continuous Tense + When + Simple Past Tense Example: John was reading a newspaper when Anto sang a song.
