Mageslayers are the elite hunters for the Tribunal of Arcane Law1. Extstensivly trained in the techniques and methods of hunting outlaw practitioners of arcane magic, the Mageslayer is a formidable opponent. Mageslayers are the ones they send when things go wrong. The typical Tribunal Wizard Slayer2 is good at his job of subduing or even killing rogue wizards. The Mageslayer is the elite of the Tribunal, a roaming judge, jury, and executioner granted the power to dispense justice as he sees fit, whenever needed. Hit Die: d6 Mageslayers are most often drawn from the ranks of the Tribunals wizards, although Sorcerers and Bards have been to take up the mantle of Mageslayer on occasion. The ability to cast arcane spells is required to become a Mageslayer, so most other classes cannot become Mageslayers.

Requirements
To qualify to become a Mageslayer, a character must fulfill all the following criteria. Skills: Concentration 10 ranks, Sense Motive 8 ranks, Spellcraft 10 ranks Feats: Greater Spell Penetration, Spell Focus (Any) Spells: Ability to cast 5th level arcane spells. Special: Must apply, and be accepted by the Tribunal as a Mageslayer. This requires a 1 year period of training, wherein the fledgling Mageslayer travels with a veteran, and is taught the intricacies of their craft.

Class Skills
A Tribunal Mageslayers class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Gather Information (Cha), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Search (Int), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int) Skill points at each level: 2 + Int modifier

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Mageslayer gains no proficiency with any weapon or armor. Spells per Day/Spells Known: At each level, a Mageslayer gains new spells per day (and spells known, if applicable) as if he had also gained a level in the spellcasting class to which he belonged before adding the

prestige class level. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus metamagic or item creation feats, and so on). If he had more than one arcane casting class before becoming a Mageslayer, he must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day and spells known. Arcane Sensitivity (Sp): The Mageslayer develops a keen awareness of the presence of arcane magic in any living creature. Hew can use Arcane Sensitivity3 at will as a wizard equal to his caster level. Improved Counterspelling: A second level Mageslayer gains Improved Counterspelling as a bonus feat. Spell Resistance: A 3rd level Mageslayer gain Spell Resistance of 5 + his Arcane caster level. Practiced Spellcaster: At 4th level a Mageslayer gains Practiced Spellcaster as a bonus feat. Arcane Mastery: At 5th level a Mageslayer gains Arcane Mastery as a bonus feat.
