Narrator 1: Once there was a wich who wanted to make a pumpkin pie. So she planted a pumpkin seed. She weeded and watered, and after a while a sprout poked through. Narrator 2: And then a pumpkin grew. And it grew. And it grew. And then it grew some more. Narrator 3: Soon Halloween was just hours away. The witch thought about pumpkin pie and bent down to take her pumpkin off the vine. Narrator 4: Well, she pulled and she tugged and she pulled. First she pulled hard and then she pulled harder. But that pumpkin just sat. Witch: Drat! Narrator 5: Just then, along came a ghost. Ghost: Big pumpkin. Witch: Its big and its mine, but its stuck on the vine, and Halloweens just hours away!

Narrator 1: And she kicked that pumpkin. Ghost: I am bigger than you and stronger too. Let me try. Witch: Hmph! Narrator 2: But she thought about pumpkin pie and stepped aside. Narrator 3: The ghost bent down to take the pumpkin off the vine. Well, He pulled and he tugged and he pulled. First he pulled hard and then he pulled harder. But that pumpkin just sat. Ghost: Drat! Narrator 4: Just then, along came a vampire. Vampire: Big pumpkin. Witch: Its big and its mine, but its stuck on the vine. And Halloweens just hours away! Narrator 5: And she kicked that pumpkin. Vampire: I am bigger than the both of you and stronger too. Let me try. Witch: Hmph! Ghost: Hmph!

They all looked at the little bat. And they started to laugh. Bat: I may not be big and I may not be strong, but I have an idea. Narrator 1: And the bat told them what to do. Witch: Hmph! Ghost: Hmph! Vampire: Hmph! Mummy: Hmph! Narrator 2: But they thought about pumpkin pie and bent down to take the pumpkin off the vine. Bat: ReadysetPULL!

Narrator 3: The bat pulled the mummy. The mummy pulled the vampire. The vampire pulled the ghost. The ghost pulled the witch, and the witch pulled the pumpkin. Narrator 4: Well they pulled and they tugged and they pulled. First they pulled hard and then they pulled harder. And. Narrator 5: Snap! Off came the pumpkin! Witch: Drat! Narrator 1: Whoosh! It flew and it flew and.Thud! It landed on top of a hill and. Narrator 2: Thump-bump, thump-bump, thump-bump. It bounced all the way to the witches house. Witch: Hooray for the bat! Narrator 3: She hurried inside to make pumpkin pie. Ghost: Mmmm. Witch: Have some more. Vampire: Couldnt eat another bite. Mummy: Fun party. Bat: Time to go! Witch: Drat!

Narrator 4: The witch watched them all leave. Then she went right out and planted another pumpkin seed.
