Manage small teams of testers ensuring a successful testing effort by participating in each SDLC phase. Provide guidance and support to project team members by developing and implementing detailed SDLC task lists to minimize the oversight of required project tasks. Conduct weekly project team meetings to review scheduled deliverables and assign QA resources to meet deliverable deadlines. Test Plan Execution and Defect Analysis Participate in SDLC process to acquire in-depth knowledge of system functionality and a thorough understanding of required resources and test scenarios. Plan, develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new and existing mainframe and web applications. Document detailed workflow information as a source for automation of regression testing. Perform root cause analysis of all defects and work with project team to implement the resolutions with minimal interruption to business operations. Documentation and Training Interpret complex technical documents to create system administration and end user documentation for mainframe systems, corporate ERP systems and web based applications such as Kronos Workforce Central. Conduct on-line web training for a corporate ERP system, Kronos Workforce Central and Microsofts Word, Outlook and Excel. Manage companywide training plan for 150+ subsidiary locations to rollout Kronos Workforce Central as the corporate timekeeping and attendance system. Collaboration and Process Improvement Collaborate with project teams to define and document testing requirements for an application inventory of 300+ web based applications. Create, publish and implement proof of test checklists for collaborative use by test team and business units. Create and oversee SharePoint libraries and lists used for application inventory, portfolio management, user test coordination and project reporting purposes. Collaborate with business units and team members to continually improve existing processes and create necessary procedures as business dictates. Major contributor in initiating and implementing a Quality Assurance, Change Control Management and Demand Management process within a small Information Technology department.
