CAST: ASPERGER'S SYNDROME TEST FOR CHILDREN

The test questions have been extracted from the book by Pilar Martín Borreguero, El
síndrome de Asperger, ¿Excentridad o discapacidad social? .

How to interpret the result?

The Children's Asperger Syndrome Test has proven useful in the early identification of
children, between the ages of four and eleven, whose behaviors suggest a high risk for
the presence of Asperger Syndrome. Each question can provide 0 or 1 point, but there
are six questions that do not score. Therefore, the maximum possible score is 31 points.
A total score of 15 or higher would be indicative of the presence of behaviors that
would warrant a diagnostic assessment by a health professional. The questionnaire has
37 questions. Please answer all of them.
