Bootloader mode for Imate devices

This is a techno-blog for the windows mobile users especially I-mate users for whom technical support is the question, now SUPPORT IMATE is available for all new as well as old users.

The bootloader is the first thing to load once you turn on the device, this does the job of booting up the device hardware and loading various items into memory before the ROM starts in the device. The bootloader is also responsible for enabling the flashing of new ROMs and other components such as the Radio and the Ext_ROM..I have below provided the key combination to turn the imate devices into bootloader mode

Step4: When you see Press any key to enter boot loader on the screen, press number 1 Smartphone (SP1) Step1: Switch off your phone. Step2: Remove your dummy card or SD/MMC card. Step3: Press and hold down the first two buttons (power button and Camera button) on the left hand side of the unit.
Step4: When you see Press any key to enter boot loader on the screen, press number 1

.. said... sir i m still unable to hard reset my SP1 when i perform step 4 Canary Mv v1.07.4M is shown on the screen.....what do i do???nothing works after!!!! please help a7medfx@gmail.com March 13, 2010 2:09 AM
