Abstrak
UNESCO telah melakukan survey bahwa minat baca masyarakat Indonesia baru 0,001 persen.
Nilai literasi membaca kita masih sangat rendah. Bagaimana caranya dapat meningkatkan minat
baca anak sejak sekolah dasar?. Dengan adanya taman baca yang baik di lingkungan masyarakat
dapat mendorong minat baca mereka (Karim, 2014). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan
kualitatif untuk mencari dan mendeskripsikan data dari kasus tentang teknik identifikasi
pengembangan minat baca di TBM Al-Istiqomah. Metode atau teknik PRA (Participatory Rural
Appraisal) juga digunakan secara teknis dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini. Konsep PRA
merupakan metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menerapkan gagasan partisipasi dan
pemberdayaan masyarakat. TBM keberadaanya sebagai media dalam rangka meningkatkan
minat baca pada anak usia sekolah dasar, melakukan beberapa kegiatan Program pohon literasi,
Program tadarus dan khatam buku, Mendengarkan cerita, Kegiatan pelatihan kaligrafi melalui
media unik, Mendengarkan Cerita dan Mendongeng, dan Menyediakan majalah dinding.
Perbaikan sistem pengelolaan taman baca dengan rancangan kurikulum TBM Kegiatan
identifikasi ini diisi dengan beberapa hasil rangkaian kegiatan. Langkah-langkah tersebut
dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan anak-anak dan orang tua untuk datang ke taman baca, sehingga
mereka tahu bahwa ada banyak bacaan dengan adanya ketertarikan mereka pada buku dan bahan
bacaan lainnya diharpakan dapat mendorong anak-anak untuk gemar membaca. Meskipun
egiatan ini lebih diorantasikan anak usia sekolah dasar dengan harapan bahwa kegemaran
membaca harus ditumbuh kembangkan sejak masih anak-anak
Abstract
UNESCO has conducted a survey that the reading interest of indonesian people is only 0.001
percent. Our reading literacy is still very low. How can you increase children's reading interest
since elementary school? With a good reading park in the community environment can
encourage their reading interest (Karim, 2014). This study uses a qualitative approach to find and
describe data from cases about reading interest development identification techniques at TBM
Al-Istiqomah. PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) methods or techniques are also used
technically in the conduct of this research. The pra concept is a method that can be used to apply
the idea of community participation and empowerment. TBM has its existence as a medium in
order to increase reading interest in elementary school-aged children, conduct several activities
of literacy tree program, tadarus and khatam book program, listen to stories, calligraphy training
activities through unique media, Listening to Stories and Storytelling, and providing wall
magazines. Improvement of the reading park management system with the design of the TBM
curriculum This identification activity is filled with several results of a series of activities. These
steps are done to gather children and parents to come to the reading park, so that they know that
there is a lot of reading with their interest in books and other reading materials expected to
encourage children to like to read. Although this strategy is more organized elementary school-
age children in the hope that the reading craze should be grown since childhood.
