Five months later, we now catch up with an ecstatic Kamusta da kaw? It is the traditional Davaweo greeting which means how are you? For friends and colleagues who have not seen each other for quite some time, such greeting is highly appropriate. And so, to personally be able to greet you with those words of exultation, the Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral ng Pamantasan ng Ateneo de Davao formally invites you to the 28th Buklod Atenista Midyear Conference on October 21 24, 2011. Buklod Atenista is the umbrella organization of student governments of Ateneo de Davao University, Ateneo de Manila University, Ateneo de Naga University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University and Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan. The alliance serves as a platform for cooperation and collaboration of all the Jesuit tertiary education institutions in the country. As stipulated in its Constitution, the Buklod Atenista shall hold its annual Leaders Summit whose foremost objective is to enhance the leadership skills of the delegates through the exchange of ideas and strategies for effective and meaningful service for the Ateneo studentry. The midyear convention will be an avenue for updates and apprising of developments in the implementation of the resolutions that were formulated and approved in last Mays 28th Buklod Atenista Leaders Summit held in the Ateneo de Davao University. For the upcoming mid-year convention, which will take place in Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan, we continue to adhere to this years theme which is Pakiglambigit: Bridging the gap between SERVICE and LEADERSHIP.
