Step #1

1. Clear your mind 2. Make your intention for the Prayer you are about to pray in your heart (without moving your lips) and that this prayer is for Allah alone. 3. During the prayer, ALWAYS look at the spot where you will place yourhead when prostrating, unless otherwise mentioned 4. Give EACH position its due time allowing your body at reach tranquility. Do NOT RUSH any position.

Make your right hand into a loose fist with your thumb relaxed and point your right index finger out and move it up and down slowly while looking at it for the rest of the prayer. Only during the Shahadah should you point it straight without moving it.

Turn head 180 degrees to the left and say same as Step #21

When performing step #17: go down with your hands first and then with your knees

Second Unit

Notice the elbows while in prostration are raised and not touching the ground

How to Perform a 4-unit Prayer...

Perform steps 1 through 20 (part 1), then perform Dhuhr (immediately after high noon): 4 units step #2, then #12 to 22. The End! Asr (afternoon):

Translation of Step #20

Perform steps 1 through 20 (part 1), then perform step #2 to 22. The End!

O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim You alone we worship, and You alone we call for help. and the family of Ibrahim. And bestow Maghrib (after sunset): Your grace on Muhammad and on the family Guide us to the Straight Way. 3 units of Muhammad as you have bestowed Your The Way of those on whom You bestowed Your Grace. Not the way Grace on Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Isha (night): of those who earned Your anger. Nor of those who have gone astray You are the most praised and the most glorious.

4 units

For steps 8, 10, 17 and 19, be sure to place your forehead, nose, both hands, both knees, and both feet on the ground to perform it correctly.
