The Global Project at creating a globally interconnected world by 2050; to create a technocratically planned and controlled global government. The key date of 2050 varies among what it is termed the Transitionist literature (Agenda 21, WWF, Sustainable Development, UN reports, DESERTEC, Smart Grid). It suffices to say, the transformation process will take about four decades with the expectation of coming into full fruition by 2045 to 2050, key target dates in the Zero Emissions (Decarbonisation of the economy), De-growth and Sustainable Development sources. The tools to achieve this are: interconnect and integrate several technologies of renewable energy production, internet access, electronic or digital currency, a global central bank, e-medicine, egovernment, power distribution, and at large, a globally connected market for renewable energy. This relies on the tried and true concept of the common market for commodities that gave rise to the precursor to the European Union (EU), the Coal and Steel Community and the European Economic Community. The main integrators up to date are trade and energy. Energy, in itself is the prime controller of economic activity, wealth accumulation, life and dynamism for the economy. Technocracys defining characteristic is to control, generate and distribute energy. Sole monopoly of this is a requirement for it to work. Allocation of energy is done on a rationing basis. According to the Technocracy and The Zeitgeist Movements; people in the economy are allocated this on a Needs basis. That means to be effective, a national and global form of allocation (system of accounting or like currency) must occur simultaneous and be planned and allotted to individuals. However, who says who needs what and what on what conditions remains undisclosed other than the Agenda 21s concepts of Sustainability and Intergenerational Equity, of Ecosocialist discourse. These forces at large, given the funding by the United Nations, array of carbon-related taxes and contributions of resources among them technology, know-how and funds will bring a globally planned economy. This is the final form that creates the building structure for a global state (The Universal State). These forces are unstable and require a transition in ideology, demographics and the demolition of the factors that hold the nation-states are distinct units. Some of these new ideologies are Technocracy, The Zeitgeist Movement, Venus Project, Ecosocialism (Green Politics), Transhumanism, Posthumanism, Singularity Movement, Gaia Principle (new collectivism), Deep Ecology, Earth Charter, Interfaith Faith Dialogue, Ecumenism. These are some of them but not the full extend.
