3:40 a.m. Naomie's Testimony of What
Happened Through the Night
After I was finished reporting to you last night, I
could tell you didn't hear me that you were already
taken away unconscious. The Lord took you right
unconscious. You have been through a very severe
session all day yesterday and through the night. At
first you were very still. I got done reporting to you
at midnight. For an hour you were still quiet.
Right at 1:00 your body started to jolt and jerk.
You twisted onto your side. Your body started to
tremble. You twisted back onto your back and
your back bowed out of the bed. Your body was
trembling. Your head was thrown back. It kept
knocking against the bed board. Your breath kept
being taken away from you. At 1: 15 you said, "I
am so miserable, so miserable. What is happening
to me? What is going on?" You said, "I just feel
sick over this. Ifeel sick. The Lord is allowing me
to even atone for Uncle Allen and Ernest that they
won't be totally destroyed. The Lord is giving
them an opportunity to repent as far as they can.
The Lord loves those men. I am yearning that he
will take their lives before they turn traitor. He is
showjng me the)? will stand true" you sqjd "The
Lord has required a great atonement to spare this
people. Little do they realize how close they came
to being destroyed. Little does this family realize
how close they came to being destroyed. The Lord
has allowed me to intervene to make atonement. "
At 2:00 your body again jolted really hard,
trembled very severely. It lasted for about fifteen
minutes. You said, "What is happening? What is
happening? "
At 2:30 you said, "The Lord is showing me
brother Raymond Jessop will take over that home.
He will be given Ernest's family for time and all
eternity. Uncle Merril for now will live in the
basement of that home to give him a better facility.
We will start a home for him right away. You said,
"The Lord spared this people but if I wouldn't
have been here even now this place would have
been destroyed and burned by fire, the fire of
heaven. This whole land would have become such
a desolation. The Lord allowed me to atone." You
had a very severe night. Your body has been
through such a great shaking. You said, "The
Lord is judging all Israel. The men had better be
aware. Once they lose the confidence of God it
takes a long time to earn it back and there is just no
time left. The Lord is showing me He is giving
Uncle Allen and Ernest an opportunity to make
some degree of repentance." You said, "I don't
know, I keep wondering if the Lord has a written
revelation for Allen Steed also. I am reaching to
know. He hasn't told me to send anyone else away
yet. I am reaching to know if there is a written
revelationfor Uncle Allen." You said, "Now Keith
Dutson will take Uncle Allen's place in hewing the
rock bringing it forth out of the earth. He will need
to be so prayerful, ahead and on top of things and
be so implicitly obedient to never dictate the
Lord. "
You said, "The Lord has also shown me the
foundation footings for the temple, the rock wall
will sit on the footings that on each side of the rock
block the footing will be six inches long wider on
either side so the footings will be four feet deep by
seven feet wide. And on either side of the rock will
be six inches. The footings will be six inches wider
on either side. You said, "The building is on the
outside dimensions 180 by 95. The inside
dimensions is 174 by 89.
At 3:00 your body jolted hard again. You said,
"Oh, my. Oh, my. What is happening to me?" You
said, "Everything in me feels like it will melt away.
Something is happening inside of me. I am
reaching for understanding. Oh, the Lord is so
merciful to us. We must realize we have been
bought with a price and now anyone who has to be
sent back, even the ladies, the Lord has told me to
say to them, 'If you want to go back to Short Creek
to develop greater faith speak now and realize that
if you have to be sent away because of bad feelings
you cannot return here. The Lord will judge you
and you will go down with the wicked." You said,
"The Lord wants this people to realize what has
happened. They have been judged and the Lord
will continue to clean up this camp of Zion. The
brethren need to realize to be sent away now
means they lose Priesthood and everything." You
said, "There is such a greater knowledge to come
to that the Lord is offering. It must be reached for,

sought after. This people must realize that when
the Prophet is among them and they go day after
day without a training and he is among them, the
Lord has judged this people as unworthy to receive
greater revelation. We must stay at the work until
it is complete." You groaned you said, "Oh, woe.
We should be so grateful for we are a very heaven
blessed people." Then you went quiet until you
came to at 3:30. It is now 4:10.
6:10 a.m.
The Lord took you from the family again.
Don't just record what I say but describe what I
go through okay; but for sure record what I say.
For the last hour you were still, I couldfeel that
your body was trembling but you were not twisting
and turning, you were still and you were trembling
like it was mostly the inward trembling of your
Spirit.
I got done reporting to you last about 4: 1 O. You
came to again at 5:30. At 4:30 you said, "The
Lord is showing me that this is how I will be from
here on out. I have to learn to take it." You said,
"This is the 10
th
of August, the day the temple was
to be started and what I went through yesterday
was an atonement that we might have a little bit
more time to prepare. I realize that some of these
men have been up day and night, day and night
they are exhausted. I yearn the Lord to strengthen
them, bless them with health and strength. I hope
they are eating what they need to keep their
strength up. You said, "The Lord is training me to
learn how to take this even as I go among people a
greater atonement will always be in private, but I
will continue to atone until Zion is redeemed. "
You said, "The Lord wants Merril Jessop and his
two counselors set apart before the First
Presidency does their work so they can be
participant." You said, "There are many wounds
that need to be healed. The Lord will heal the
wounds if we turn to Him. "
At 5:45 you sat up on your elbow.
4:45.
Yes, at 4:45. You sat therefor quite some time.
You didn't say anything while you were up on your
elbow. About 5:00 is when you laid back down.
You said, "This doesn't go away. Doesn't go
away. The Lord and the heavens are weeping over
Uncle Allen and brother Ernest and this whole
people. The Lord loves those men even still. It is
according to the degree of their repentance He will
remember mercy on them, but justice has to be
satisfied. You said, "Now we must go forward and
not look back. That is what this people needs to
realize. We have to go forward now. This work
must succeed, must succeed. "
At 5: 15 you said, "There is much work to be
done today. The Lord still wants me to go among
the brethren and check their spirits and see if the
light is in their eyes." You groaned and said,
"This people has been bought with a price, all of
us have by all of the Prophets. Little do we realize
the great pain we put them through; but with
rejoicing they sacrifice their all that we may live. I
know I am the weakest, lowest among them with
rejoicing I want to sacrifice that this people might
live.
That Zion will rise.
That is the last thing you said before you came
to. At 5:30 you had some bread and juice. It is
now 6:25.

Father, thank you, Heavenly Father, for your
constant watch-care, blessings, mercy and
kindness, for your perfect walk in doing right and
following eternal correct principle. Thank you for
the yearnings of thy heart extended to us. And we
know even you continually suffer for thy children
on earth because of their slowness and
disobedience and because you know what will
become of them if they do not qualify.
And we thank you for answering our prayers
and favoring us with this day in your service,

always reaching for the increase of your Spirit to
guide us and strengthen us unto a more perfect
obedience. And as we dwell in the lively increase
of your heavenly gift by your grace, make us like
unto thyself, Father, filled with your love, loving
you and your will and laws above all and loving
thy creations through loving you and doing your
will in all things.
We do believe what you will present before us
this day. And have us do and as ordinance work
will be done here at this time to perform your will,
we ask dear Father for the Spirit of our callings,
remembering that every ordinance through
Priesthood and through the Spirit of God is you
performing that work and we simply yearn to be an
extension of thee, one with thee to see as you see.
Thank you for this quorum of the First Presidency
of your Church upon the earth, the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints and for the burning
witness that you are the leader and guide and God
over us.
Dear Heavenly Father, may thy will be done
this day. Bless these dear brethren with your word
through thy servant and that they will receive,
believe and help accomplish this work. Thank you
for these dear brethren and thy approval burning in
them and thy approval over us. And we only want
to live in your will to live in your approval even
jnto etemj'1' Forgive us li"bere 'IVe have fallen
short where we have need to do better. But we
thank you Father for the gifts of obedience you
have allowed us to render. And we join in this
consecrated land to perform your will. And we do
this praying that you will be near and our Holy
Prophet and the Prophets will bear influence for
we know you are watching the details of every
person's mind, heart and doings, conversations
and feelings.
Bless us with the gift of oneness constantly
exerted. And may we feel the burning witness of
all things that you direct, yet we will obey and wait
on the for the full understanding as you will allow
us to be tested first to earn the blessings. Bless this
land, keep back the evil powers still and deliver us
from all evil. By the authority ofthe Priesthood do
we rededicate ourselves, the kingdom of God, our
families, all things unto thee. Allow the way of
deliverance to open up for the pure in heart
knowing you are choosing from among your
people. Attend with us in this ordinance work this
day we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Uncle Fred: Sure glad to see you this morning.
I am rejoicing the Lord's light is shining in your
eyes, brethren. You can hear me well? I have
much to go over with you. I need to read the
revelation that was given and tell you what the
Lord has had done and why these ordinations need
to go forward now for this work to prosper.
The Lord has had me keep you brethren updated
with all the trainings from this place, even to the
family in Short Creek, so you are acquainted with
how the Lord has directed things to be done. His
schedule was revealed months ago. He had me
leave on Rl as a test on the people there, twice and
be gone several weeks. You have been in my
constant prayers brethren and the Lord has
revealed your hearts and He is pleased with you at
this time. He is pleased with you two brethren at
this time. He wants me to update you on what He
has revealed and what He wants done so that we
will act in oneness with His will and thus I give you
a training. I thank you for your love and patience
toward me.
Uncle Fred: It is a pleasure.

the Lord is watching us, every man, woman and
child. And as you heard the trainings you have
heard how the details of doing, of organization, of
order, of cleanliness is being given and watched in
our families. When a training is given here and
then we listen at Rl, those at Rl are expected to
come up to that level of doing. But concerning this
present issue, for several months the Lord has
called on these brethren to have certain things
ready on time. They knew of the schedule. They
didn't meet their August 1 st time and the Lord had
sent me on a trip to perform some marriage
ordinances and then He said get here to R17 quick
or He would scourge and destroy this people. And
so I traveled swiftly here, arriving through August

, arriving in the early morning of August 3
rd
.
I say this much: That the Lord allowed me to
intervene and atone. He appointed that I come here
and stay on site to make sure the rock for the
Meeting House was brought forth. The brethren
appointed had received constant warnings and
pleadings from me: Get the equipment here. Be
inspired, the way will open up. But time after time
they gave excuses why they couldn't do it.
It became in Allen Steed's and Ernest Jessop's
relation with me that they were finding every
reason to not do what the Lord had directed. They
were finding another way feeling justified because
of circumstances. I kept explaining to them,
"When the way doesn't open up that is the test to
see if you will exert greater faith." Finally, as I was
on site - the Lord had stopped them in brining forth
the rock - I came on site, the Lord had me stay up
all night right with them. He touched the stone -
it softened up - it came out; the top layers had to
be removed to get down to the lower layer, and
then they began cutting the stone.
And the Lord directed that the first twenty-four
stones we were to have prayer circle and ask the
Lord to touch the stones, softened while it sawed,
harden it when it is processed. And then every one
hundred stones we were to have the circle prayer
asking the Lord to touch those stones and harden
them, teaching us to exert faith like the brother of
Jared where the Lord would touch the stones.
The Lord had me stay right there until 7:30 in
the morning August 4th and then He took me into

went out there and saw they hadn't prepared very
many stones. I encouraged them. I came back.
And then I performed that work in the Lord of to
counsel Sam Barlow what to tell the lawyers.
I hope I have those disks. You will go get them
when I am done with the ordinance work.
I will have you hear those disks. Do you have
the disk or the recording in handling Ernest and
Allen Steed? I would like them to hear that.
These brethren in this next room were present
during that correction. But this was Wednesday,
August 4
th
, the Lord had me busy by phone with
Uncle Sam and the lawyers until about 4:00 in the
afternoon. I then went around and by 6:00 they
didn't have any more stones ready and we were to
process twelve thousand stones. And they didn't
even have two hundred ready and the next day the
Lord extended it to August 5 - from August 1 st to
August 5
th
to have the meeting house done.
And that is when I was awakened and I stood up
from our circle prayer after the next hundred
stones were dedicated and I said to Allen Steed,
and others, "You are fostering a failure and you
know it. And you have done nothing. You are just
going merrily along and watching the failure
happen. And the Lord told you to have everything
ready for this project." And I said, "You should be
sending out for every saw you can find in this
area." Because they had one saw that wasn't even
producing one hundred stones in three hours. And
the next day was the deadline.
I am going to tell you this in confidence but I
worked with Allen Steed and Ernest for these
months to be ready for this. August 10, was known
for months and they still didn't have the equipment
here to remove the stone, to saw it into shape and
here we are desperately trying to catch up. And
now we are to August 10, and weren't not here; we
don't have it ready. And that is rejecting God
when He offers such a great blessing as a temple
and His presence and we didn't do our part.
So through the night of August 4, until August
5, in the morning the Lord required an atonement
again. And then He had me call Ernest Jessop and
tell him, "You are worthy to be destroyed, you and
your family and you are a man of compromise."
And then I told Ernest what the Lord showed me in
that dream over a year ago that I presented to the
people in the move how certam men were gIven
directions to move the truck close and they
wouldn't do it. They would park it blocks away
and I had to call the young men to help move that
distance. And the Lord had me tell Ernest, "You
are one of those men that compromise that when
the Lord speaks, you don't seek unto Him, youjust
follow your own will. And you are ready to be
destroyed and cast out. And if you have to be sent
away from here you will lose Priesthood and your
family."
Then the Lord had me call Allen Steed and he
had me relate that dream to Allen Steed and the
Lord showed me this about him that as I was
carrying the weight alone, trying to open the door,
he was not only one of those who wouldn't open
the door, but he was standing in the way not
allowing me to open the door. And I gave him the
Lord's warning: "You have known His will and
you have justified compromise after compromise.
You are ready to be destroyed. Repent dear
brother. If you have to be sent away, you will lose
Priesthood and your family, and you will be
rejected."
I then went in search of them and sought them
out, hugged them, blessed them, built them up,
encouraged them to press forward that we have
missed the Lord's schedule now the test is will we
stay at it.
But the night before August 4, I had driven
around, looking at the projects here and I just
happened to meet two of the ladies who wanted to
go see Barbara's grave site. And I got them on the
four wheeler with me and we drove past these
brethren, Allen Steed and Ernest up by the gravel
pit. And the strongest warning came over me and
the Spirit said, "Those men are in conspiracy
against God." I drove past them and drove back
and again, the Lord warned me: "They are in
conspiracy against God." And I had to stop and
stare at them. And I beheld their dark spirit. They
were living in a self justification of why they didn't
obey the Lord's directives. And then I finally
walked up to them to shake their hands, to feel
their spirit. But that is what the Lord warned me --
that because those two men in the leadership
position here on this project wouldn't obey the
Lord, all the rest of Zion's camp was in

yet all of Zion's camp here knew the Lord's will.
I left here. I drove back to RI on the 6
th
The
Lord took me in hand on the 7
th
. And again he had
me go through another atonement. I thank the
Lord for that gift and principle. But I did make a
call Saturday afternoon to Short Creek and I
learned that Ernest Jessop was calling for me. So I
called him here. And everything he said was a
compromise. And he had so lost the Spirit of God
that he wouldn't tell me what he had searched for,
he would say, "This brother asked this
compromise. That brother asked that. What do
you think of changing this?" And everything he
talked about was a changing of the Lord's
directives. And I said, "No, you can't do that, the
Lord said this. No, you can't do that the Lord said
that."
And when I hung up the phone, and the Lord
watching all we are doing, He took me into an
immediate session, so severe that for about three
hours I was left paralyzed; yet I could talk. I had
the family gather in circle prayer. I had three in the
room praying for me, and they felt and witnessed
the presence of God; and they heard me voice this
revelation which I will read to you brethren.
And where are the copies Naomie? Are they in
the back? No. Are they in this? I don't see them in
here. So that these brethren can read with me. Did
you put them in?
In the midst of my experience with the Lord and
Him present, Him only allowing my voice to work
-- and those present were -- two of them were
sisters to this man that was handled and in the
Lord's mercy, He let them feel the all-consuming
fire in His presence and have a witness that when I
spoke, it was the Lord speaking. And they, in His
mercy, after I voiced this revelation, He had me
say to them, "Don't you have sympathy against
authority in what the Lord is doing with this man or
you will fall." And the Lord allowed his sisters
that are sealed to me -- this is one of them -- to
witness and have a knowledge this was God doing
this work.
This was at 6:45 p.m. Saturday. This is why I
was not able to come and visit with you brethren
but by 10:00 I was recovered enough to have Isaac
come over and get the message to you that we were
leavillg. Alld tiletl tlre Lord irad IIle leave qaick
enough that I wasn't able to meet with you but He
showed me we would meet here. I will read this
slow enough that you can hopefully absorb it.
Revelation Given to President Warren S. Jeffs
At the Place of Refuge Rl
Saturday, August 7,2004
6:45 p.m.
1. Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you,
my servant Warren Jeffs, whom I have
chosen in the last days to perform the
work of the redemption of Zion and to
prepare a people for mine own presence
among them:
2. Behold L the Lord, have rejected
Ernest Jessop as the presiding Elder in
the Texas Stake of Zion, for even now he
has called upon me through you, my
servant, to compromise my will unto him
in the labors appointed.
3. And I have borne with his
weaknesses and heard thy prayers in his
behalf andforgiven him many times. Yet,
he continues to rely upon his own
strength and will not apply unto me, the
Lord his God, for the guidance and
strength to do my will.
4. And let him remove himself and
return to the Short Creek Stake of Zion to
do as he will.
The Lord won't even give him counsel now.
5. And let there be appointed in his
place my servant Merril Jessop to be set
apart as Bishop of the Texas Stake of
Zion, and let there be appointed as his
counselors my servant Raymond Jessop
and my servant Joseph Steed, to be a
strength unto my servant Merril Jessop in
establishing my cause of the fulness of
Zion on that consecrated land.
6. And let there be no disputations
among you, but accept of my will. And he
who is worthy, I will uphold through the
trying scenes; and he who is not worthy
shall be cast out from among you.
I am verse seven and it goes to the other side.
Verse seven.
7. And verily, thus saith the Lord unto
you, my people, who have been called by
mine own voice out of the heavens,
lh, uugh "if se, vuni, tv pe;joi III a VvD; k in
me: Seek unto me diligently through the
constant devotion of fervent faith, and I
will be with you yet as you humble
yourselves and hold not back a part.
8. For the enemy is combined and my
day of visitation is upon you and upon the
nations of the earth; and behold, ye must
be prepared and have burning within
you, individually, the powers of my Spirit
as a shield of protection and as a power
to do.
9. My arm of mercy is stretched out
still unto those who will obey my will
through my servant. Leave judgment to
me, and I will repay.
10. And I call upon you, my people, to
repentwithfull purpose of heart, lest sore
judgments come upon you, even upon the
lands of refuge. For I the Lord shall not
be mocked in these last days, but great
sorrows shall come upon those who
disobey the revelations of my will.
11. And my word shall be fulfilled,
that the sinner in Zion shall fear, and the
pure in heart shall be protected of me.
And surely L the Lord, have spoken it and
shall fulfill.
12. And I say unto you, my servant, L
the Lord, withdraw Priesthood from
Ernest Jessop, and his portion shall be
with unbelievers; and they who are
appointed unto him, L the Lord, shall
reserve them for another, as they prove
faithful unto me.
That is his family.
13. Let the quorum of the First
Presidency of my Church travel to the
Texas Stake of Zion and perform the work
I have appointed there.
14. And verily, I say unto you, my
servant, L the Lord, shall reveal more of
my will when you arrive to that place.
And the Lord had me in session all day and all
night.
15. The experience I am taking you
through in allowing you to suffer and
atone for my people who can qualify for
ffleJulness oj Don, and me experiences 1
shall yet allow you to pass through, my
servant, shall bring about my purposes
upon the earth in the preparation of a
people to redeem Zion. And behold I am
with you.
16. L the Lord, shall forgive whom I
will forgive. You are to forgive all men,
my servant and my people; and look unto
me for protection, deliverance, and
blessings unto eternal life.
17. This is the word of the Lord unto
you at this time. My peace be upon you,
my servant, and those who will hearken
unto my words through you. Even so,
amen.
So as the quorum of the First Presidency, do all
present receive this as binding upon the Church of
God on the earth?
Response: Yes, Sir!.
And let the record show this quorum receives it.
I will allow you to keep that in your books; but may
I take it with me and hand it to you there, unless
you would like to read through it again.
Uncle Wendell: I would like to.
Okay. Hand it to me before we travel so I have
it in one place.
Response: Yes, Sir.
I am going to allow Naomie to come kneel here.
I would like you to hear a testimony why I need
your prayers brethren. And I sent word to you. I
trust you got the word twice.
Uncle Wendell: We got it once.
I seek the humility of heaven in this way that
Celestial justice has to be administered for mercy
to be exercised. And only God can administer that
Celestial justice. So I acknowledge that only He
does this. And the principle of atonement has been
exercised by every keyholder of Priesthood
unknown to the people. And you brethren are
allowed to know to a degree of what is involved
that you can lend strength. I am grateful unto the
Lord for you. Yesterday I had to even call on the
family and also three ladies to come in with me to
kneel and pray for me that my life would be spared.
I am just informing you of the Lord that the
atonements now are getting so severe it is as
though my life is taken and then restored. And that
is why I need your prayers brethren and why I
rejoice in the Lord for you that there is a quorum of
Priesthood that is one and that He will honor.
This is one ofthe ladies present at R 1 Saturday.
I am making a record of this.
You can just speak up.
She is just going to voice what she felt and
witnessed to the degree she is allowed and let you
brethren be aware of what is happening. I rarely
voice these things myself. Much of what I go
through can't even be described because it is the
Lord doing it. But I will have her start where she
was present as I was at a heavenly session and I got
off the phone with Ernest Jessop.
Speak loud.
Naomie: Do you want me to say what I saw?
What you saw, what you felt, what I had you do
and touch, what you heard. Speak up loud like you
are yelling. This girl talks soft. If you can't hear
her, raise your hand or something and she will
repeat. And look at them. Seek the Lord's Spirit.
Loud.
Naomie: I pray for Heavenly Father's Spirit to
guide my words as I bare testimony of what I felt
and witnessed. After Warren got off the phone, it
was about 3:45 in the afternoon, he was ready to
walk out of his room but the Lord took him
immediately into session, so severely that from
3:45 until 5:30, he seemed somewhat unconscious.
As I was sitting on the bed watching, praying for
him, the Lord allowed me to see in vision to a
degree what Warren is going through.
Can you hear me?
And it was as though, I don't think I was asleep
but it was as though I could see Warren walking
through this low valley and the load he was
carrying was so heavy. He was going slow but
very steady. And it was as though he was sweating
blood as he was trying to lift this load and carry it.
And as I was in that condition I heard him voice,
"Ernest Jessop is rejected of God. "
You heard me voice. I voiced it in the heavenly
session the Lord's words that Ernest Jessop was
rejected. Go ahead.
Naomie: And that he was very displeased with
Allen Steed, the Lord was very displeased with
Allen Steed. And as I was witnessing Warren go
through this low valley, the Lord allowed me to see
how the pressures were coming upon him so heavy,
and it was getting heavier and heavier and I kept
hearing him call my name but it was as though I
couldn't move, I couldn't speak until finally it was
as though I was standing in front of him or beside
him as he was walking and he looked at me and
says, "Are you with me? "
The Lord was preparing her for what he was
about to do with her brother.
Naomie: And that is when I could talk and I sat
up and I said, "Yes, I am here." That was at 5:30
and for another twenty minutes he went through
the most severe trembling. His body twisted in the
chair, trembled so severely. And at 5:30 he said he
was paralyzed, he couldn't move - he himself. I
know it was the Lord's Spirit taking him through
that atonement. I could feel the presence of God
there. And he said to me at about ten minutes to
6:00, "Go and tell the ladies to kneel in circle
prayer and pray for me that my life will be spared
and I will be strengthened. "
And then he said, "You bring Ora back in here
and you two kneel and pray for me." And I went
and told the family and I told Ora that Warren
wanted her to come into his room. And he told me
before she came in to prepare her to tell her what
had been happening. So before we stepped into his
room I said, "Ora, he is suffering so greatly. " And
she said, "Nom ie, we have to succeed this time. "
And I said, "I know and so does R17 and they are
not ready. "
As we walked into his room he trembled even
harder. And I know he goes through that
trembling so that we will be protected as the Lord
is there. When we got in there he said, "Go get
Ida. Go get Ida, Naomie." So I stepped to go past
him and I looked up and I could see a pillar of light
and it got brighter until I could see a personage
with a flaming sword and the Spirit said, "Do not
accuse and do not sympathize, or I will destroy
you, right now." And I was riveted in my tracks. I
couldn't move. I just had to stand there and look.
And I said in my heart I said, "I believe what the
Lord does is right. I know He does right, and I will
obey. "
You see brethren, the Lord guards those who
are close to me and work with me that they must be
one, or they will be cast out and destroyed. But the
Lord was favoring this young lady to have a
witness that what I was about to do in the Lord's
name was His will, this revelation. As this brother
Ernest was considered by all the family as the most
obedient son, and yet he had disobeyed and
disobeyed. So in the Lord's mercy He was
preparing those close to me to receive it. Just
consider all three of you came in the room and
what I had each of you do before the revelation was
given.
Naomie: About 6:30 he said, "Ida, come and
touch my finger with your finger." She stood up.
She went and he said, "Just a finger." I was
kneeling closest to him and then Id and then Ora.
Ida got up and even as she touched him I could feel
such a fire serge through me. He asked her what
she felt and she told him. And then he said, "Ora,
you come and touch me." And Ora did the same.
And she told him what she felt. Then he said, "Now
your turn Naomie." So I stood up, and as I
reached my finger out to touch him, and as I
touched him, the most powerful serge of the
all-consuming fire serged through my body just
with a touch of a finger more powerful than I have
ever felt it. It was as though I - my strength was
taken. I knelt down on the floor and he said,
"Okay, back away. "
And a few minutes later he said, "Put the
recorder by my mouth." So I picked it up and
turned it on and put it by his mouth and he said,
"You can write and so can you Ora. " And at 6: 45
he dictated that revelation. But as he dictated it,
his voice was the voice of God. It was God
speaking through him, and I know it was. After he
finished he said, "The Lord has shown me that my
very next breath is His gift to me, my very next
movement is His gift to me. He said, "Don't you
sympathize or accuse God, or you will be cast out
and you can't be part of me. "
And I asked all of you if you accepted the
Lord's will. It continued on about a three hours
paralysis and then the Lord began to restore me.
But He wouldn't let me go forward on anything
else until I gathered the brethren here in the
waItmg room, the members of the HIgh CouncIl
from Short Creek, Ernest Jessop, Allen Steed,
Raymond Jessop and then I read this revelation
and told Ernest Jessop and Allen Steed they were
rejected of God and had to leave the land before
midnight. I directed Uncle Merril to take charge
and when I came we would ordain him.
So brethren, this group of Zion's camp, even the
families here have received rebuke after rebuke.
Now the brethren have been doing a constant push
of physical labor.
This morning the Lord had me go among them
and look in each man's eye and feel their Spirit and
see if they are compromising or if they are with
God. Thus far it is the sons of Allen Steed that are
struggling with bad feelings right now. Perhaps
two brothers of Ernest are having a struggle. Uncle
Merril has passed the test. He responded
immediately, thanked the Lord knowing of the
seriousness of this, but thus far Uncle Merril is
approved of God. And I voice all this that we may
be one and we join together now and lay our hands
upon the heads of these men and set them apart for
their mission. And then I will go over a few more
things with you brethren.
The Lord favors those who attend me with
enough of a witness that they know it is the Lord
doing it, handling me, giving his word. So I often
have them come and touch me so they can feel the
witness ofthe all-consuming fire from heaven that
they can be at peace at what they witness and feel
and always the Lord's work progresses by
testimony. So I am bearing these testimonies to
you that you may feel the witness that we may be
one.
What has taken place in Ernest Jessop and Allen
Steed and thus many of the people here that were
under their direction is they began following an
earthly vision of this heavenly mission and
allowed earthly circumstances to cause them to
stop their faith and not fulfill the Lord's directive.
And it got to where they were so deadweight, I was
having to command them to even take a next step.
They wouldn't even take a step without waiting on
me to receive a revelation of what to do next when
they should be men that are inspired knowing the
Lord's directives. The Lord allowed me to atone

He would give us to the Ith.
And I have just been among the brethren telling
them what had to be done. He has even revealed
the exact size of the outside and inside dimensions
of the building, how big the footings are, how to
lay and assemble the stones - and that is what I
will need to go over with the workers. These men
were leading - Ernest Jessop and Allen Steed in
their responsible positions - were leading all of
Zion's camp here to destruction in their
disobedience, and these other men following that
disobedience. The Lord as of yesterday was ready
to destroy us. Literally, He told me, He was ready
to send fire from heaven to consume this land and
leave it desolate if I hadn't been here. But He
required an atonement.
And now He will have me hold a meeting, give
another strong correction, invitation to repentance,
and now the warning of the Lord is that any man
who is dismissed from this mISSIOn has lost
Priesthood, has lost his family, and he will not
have a place among us, especially those set apart to
build the temple. The Lord has had me set apart
about eighteen men by ordinance, laying hands on
their head to be temple builders, set apart for that
mission.
So the Lord is choosing from among the men
those allowed on the temple site. And they are
placed under strict covenant to keep sacred things
secret and if they betray that covenant, they will be
cast out and lose Priesthood. After all the
warnings I gave those men, those men on Saturday
talked to me by phone asking all these
compromises, asking the Lord to change what He
had directed. And it had happened so many times
the Lord had rejected them. And it shows how He
is watching us so close in how we respond to His
directives. So are you brethren understanding and
at peace and one with the will of God?
Response: Yes, Sir.
And yet the Lord told me and I also say it, "We
love those men." And the Lord had me say to those
them, "You would be dead right now except the
Lord allowed me to atone for you sufficient that
your lives will be spared to repent to the degree
you are allowed and to make some atonement
before you pass on."
The Lord had me tell Allen Steed, "You have
treated me like a boy, as though the directives I
have given you can question and question and
question, and change. And you have not realized
my position before the Lord; when I speak, it is
Him speaking and not just of myself." And I
warned them the Thursday morning last that they
were ready to be destroyed - to repent. But they
did not. They continued in the same pride.
Brethren, oh how I have ached over them. And
I have felt the pain of the Lord over them as He has
mourned over them as fallen. Men after his own
heart, yet they rejected His will time and time
again. I had warned them many times, "Stop being
money managers and stop letting earthly things
hinder you. The Lord will open the way. Meet His
schedule. Be ahead and prepare." The Lord had
me correct certain men today. Fred Lindsay is the
crew boss and he was corrected for being so empty,
blindly following these uninspired men when he
knew the Lord's directive, going along with
compromises when he knew the Lord's directivs.
Also when I arrived here August 3, early in the
morning, I found out three of the men appointed to
build the temple had left to go get their families.
Ernest Jessop allowed them to leave without the
project being done. So this morning the Lord had
me correct them, and I have done it to two of them ,
"You brethren so displeased the Lord He was
ready to destroy you, except He allowed me to
come here and atone for you." I voice this only to
awaken our minds to what is involved in the
redemption of Zion; the Lord gives a directive and
we must give our all to accomplish it.
And He is now having me for the last month
clean up Zion's camp. Even this quorum was
corrected. Until now I count twelve men that have
been sent away from Zion's camp. I told you about
Abraham Draper Barlow and how the Lord
humbled him and yet spared his life. The Lord has
told me He is now going to allow accidents and
even death to come upon us to see if we will stay
sweet and keep building Zion and come to a
condition where it is our very survival to succeed
in this mission. And you know what is happening
against us in Short Creek and in Utah in particular,
it will result in the driving of the people and the
shedding of innocent blood. And the Lord is
directin me and trainin me how to 0 into such
deep hiding as I travel so that I will be able and
empowered and guided by Him to gather the
faithful ones.
So I voice this brethren to me and you, The day
of choosing is even upon Zion's camp. And to be
chosen of the Lord we have to choose Him every
minute, every thought, every desire. We have to
choose Him for Him to choose us and live in that
constant devotion of fervent prayer dedicated unto
Him, the prayer of rejoicing, reaching to be led and
being led until the blessing comes and stay at it.
Now concerning Rl, the Lord has directed me
that I will go back to the Short Creek area, train a
few more men and call upon certain businesses to
bring forth monies in secret into a new land
holding company - the Lord will reveal who
those officers are - and purchase the lands by Rl
to expand our holdings there. And hopefully we
will build the new houses there on those expanded
lands and not be so confined. We need to exert that
faith until the blessing is given and not think that,
"Oh we are stopped in a work, that is the Lord's
will." Because the Lord's will is we acquire those
lands. And as we acquire the land of those ladies
beyond MrBramble, He will soften Bramble's
heart if we will but have the faith. And though we
can't see where we will get the means, the Lord
will open the way. We also have the temple
project to do here. And as that is constructed here
the devil will rage further, and it will take a
constant faith even to where the men working on
the temple will have to ask the Lord where the next
stone should come from and ask Him to touch that
stone to have the strength to be part of the building.
The families here have been forbidden to go to
the temple site or the rock quarry unless they are
individually set apart for that mission.
Today Uncle Merril and Joseph Steed have not
been set apart for that mission, but the Lord wants
them set apart for that mission to be a temple
builder. Raymond Jessop has already been set
apart by ordinance. So if you brethren will assist
me, I will have those men come in and sit here and
I will first give them some instructions.
Ordinance Work and Training
If you three brethren will come in now please.

[Said Hello to the children and ladies.]
There you are. Sit up by your father.
We continue the First Presidency meeting with
my scribe present for the purpose of giving
instructions and performing ordinations. I seek the
Lord's Spirit to always guide what I do. He has
shown me by very direct experience that every
word and every movement, everything done is by
His will and grace and we are here to do His will.
All three of you brethren were present were you
not at that correction the other night. You were
here Raymond? We must have a oneness here and
the quorum of the First Presidency is in oneness
with the will of God. I voice to all of us: Though
these two men that were handled in the Lord's
words were men after His own heart, they
knowingly and continually compromised His will
until finally they were rejected of God. And from
this time on any man dismissed from this mission
loses Priesthood and loses his Priesthood
blessings. That is how serious this mission is. And
I love those men, and I simply say it this way, the
Lord allowed me to intervene that their lives would
be spared. He was ready to destroy them -- that
they would have a little more time to make
atonement and repent to perhaps earn some
Priesthood blessings. And I give myself and all of
us this warning ofthe Lord that He is through with
the halfhearted among Zion's camp. And the
halfhearted in Zion's camp are those that know the
Lord's will and compromise His will. And now it
requires the faith of the brother of Jared, which is
implicit, inspired, joyful obedience to earn his
blessings.
These men and it focused on brother Ernest
because of his responsible position, these men
were leading Zion's camp to destruction. And the
obedience of others to their directives was
disobedience to God where the Lord said this
needs to be done and those men found excuses to
not fulfill His will. The Lord has allowed them
their lives. I will work with brother Ernest's
family. After the First Presidency moves or leaves
this land, the Lord would like you, Uncle Merril, to
move into the basement -- is it Raymond's
apartment? They are downstairs from you. And
you have those better facilities, those three rooms
down there.
And you are to begin a house for you and your
family right away.
The First Presidency home must be done by
August 20. And I noticed a skeleton crew there,
hardly anything being done. We must meet the
Lord's directive. Also, the Lord allowed me to
intervene. Today we didn't meet His schedule. I
have been to the crew at the temple site and the
rock quarry. The Lord has appointed Keith Dutson
to take Allen Steed's place, to take charge of the
rock work and the rock quarry. Thus far only
Nephi Jeffs is appointed and we have used Edson
Jessop and Guy Jessop as very capable at whatever
they are asked to do. I have been over there and
described to Keith Dutson how much further we
need to expand that rock quarry and how deep it
needs to go as there is better rock even deeper than
we have gone.
But Uncle Merril, by September 29, a temple
rough construction has to be done: the rock work
up, the walls up, the roof on and the walls framed
inside and the rooms even their dimensions and
placement in that building are revealed. And it is
sacred and secret. The only ones allowed on those
areas, the temple site and the rock quarries are
those set apart by ordinance to participate. And
you three brethren as you are set apart will also be
set apart as temple builders and allowed on those
sacred sites. Brother Raymond has already had
that gift.
I have listed some things Uncle Merril that
Ernest was directed to do. I am grateful for the
good he did, but he reached a condition where he
would not make any move unless I commanded
him. And his communications with me were what
others wanted to do, and he had lost inspiration. I
hope you brethren will come up to the mark. You
two work close with Uncle Merril, be inspired and
be ye one. And I counsel you three to meet three
times a day and if one of you are gone on an errand,
the others do it and have circle prayer, praying for
myself, the First Presidency and this mission to be
accomplished. Those working on the temple rock
are being trained to dedicate every stone and ask
the Lord to touch every stone to be strengthened
and that is how constant we have to be devoted to
Him.
The First Presidency home needs to be done
right away. Your home needs to be started, the site
of the processing of the rock, a rock quarry is right
next to the temple. And Ernest was directed to get
the power down to that site and they just found
excuses to not do it. We need the power there even
if it is a generator. We have in process a water
system need. We need to get the water down there,
a well drilled, a water tank purchased and put in.
We also need to keep the sewer system
engineering effort going so that the government
can't come upon us. I need to talk to you Uncle
Merril personally about the cement project. And
also some apostates are demanding the
government let them in here to see Barbara's
grave. I would like a grave stone right away. Also
the Lord directed Ernest and I direct you to get
your son Louis and my son Levi licenced in Texas,
a driver's licence. Also are you a Texas licence
now?
Response: Not yet.
You need to get yours. Are you? You need to
get yours right away. Are you Raymond? We
need you men who are officers in YFZ land
corporation - you three are now officers ofthe land
corporation - you need to be Texas residence so
you can execute Texas law and rights as a land
holder here. You need to do it right away. And it is
just a matter of showing three forms of I.D., sign
the papers and you are done. You did it brother
Raymond.
Raymond: ???
You don't need to register to vote because then
you will be called in on Jury duty, and we don't
want anything to do with their government.
Brethren, because Zion's camp has not been
humble and obedient, the Lord will now allow us
to experience more severe times even suffering,
sickness and death until we will exert the faith
needed for our very survival to accomplish this
mission. And the test is, no matter what the Lord
allows to come upon us, will we keep Zion
growing. Will we keep that prayer of rejoicing in
Him exerted? The Lord wants me to gather the
people together today. And I will appoint 3 :00 so
we can have a break from this meeting. If you can
gather the people.
There is a certain discipline the Lord has
appointed for the meeting house: The doors are
locked on the east end. Aaronic Priesthood bearers
are placed at the doors on the west end, and they
stand guard and make sure the people take off their
shoes at the bottom of the stairs, put them on the
shelves and walk in with clean feet and make sure
the sidewalk area is clean. And then be door
keepers during the meeting where they can listen.
Ladies with little ones go downstairs to the west
classrooms, not the east. We stay away from that
east end.
The Lord has a correction for the people. It will
humble us and then He has the offered repentance
and how we can earn His confidence. But in the
eyes of God, His description of the people on this
land is that we are in spiritual shambles toward
Him. And much of that is because of the
leadership that had to be corrected. And the Lord
expects you Uncle MeITil and you brethren
assisting him to work with me and the First
Presidency to help raise up men and women who
can come in the presence of God. And all these
projects must be done with the individuals
dwelling in the lively increase of the Spirit of God.
And the push is not just a physical labor to get a job
done on time, it is men and women the Lord wants
to develop into the condition of becoming like
God, filled with His Spirit.
Suppose we get that sacred building built, yet
we are not individually qualified to go into that
building, receive the ordinances and the presence
of God, we will be cursed; to have that sacred
edifice properly built, but if our personal
preparation isn't in place, we will miss the blessing
still. We have to live as though we are walking in
the presence of God now. He is watching us that
close. So do you brethren receive this mission call
and will you do it the Lord's way?
Uncle Merril: We will do our very best Uncle
Warren.
Always with the Lord's help. Your faith equal
to knowledge is "Yes, because the Lord wants us to
accomplish this." And faith equal to knowledge,
faith like the brother of Jared is, You will stay at it
until it is done. Will you do this brethren?
Response: Yes! With the Lord's help.
What is happening right here the very heavens
are watching. I am so grateful to the Lord for you
brethren.
Joseph Steed has a house appointed. Brother
Raymond, prepare yourself. The former family of
Ernest Jessop will be sealed to you for time and
eternity by the Lord's appointment. And that
whole building will be transformed into one
dwelling place at the right time. Will you receive
that?
Raymond Jessop: Yes, Sir.
I need to work with them first. But that is how
complete the judgment is and as a warning to all of
us that the covenants we have made offer such
great blessings that to break those covenants will
bring the greatest of cursings. And I witness to you
that the Lord's heart and He allowed me to feel it
and I have been experiencing it, our hearts have, as
it were, been bleeding in a fervent yearning pain
for those brethren, and yet We have to keep an
eternal vision gratitude of the will of God,
revelation, always burning in us or we will step on
the lesser ground of earthly vision gratitude and
accuse authority. Sympathy against authority will
make you fall. So be loyal to God and Priesthood.
This is His mission. And let us thank the Lord that
He is offering us a continuation of this work, or
you would see us scourged beyond anything you
can imagine. We are affecting the advancement of
the work of God and the very lives of the
Priesthood people. This isn't just for ourselves and
our own families.
Brethren to fail in this mission means innocent
blood will be upon us knowing the Lord has this as
a door of deliverance for the faithful ones He will
gather to the lands of refuge, and if we fall short
through a lack on our part, we could be guilty of
that judgment. This mission must and will
succeed, the Lord giving the increase. And we will
all see it is the Lord that has done it. So be loving
fathers but be loyal to God and His will, inspire,
invite, and realize you are helping to raise up men
and women Godlike, and able to come into the
presence of God. And you live as though the Lord
and the angels are walking beside you from this
moment on.
You appoint Uncle Merril, and you brethren
support him with such a oneness. Use them as you
need, even the financial affairs or keeping track of
d1Jties And from this mowent OD when the T lord
gives a schedule, you are planning ahead. And
don't think, "Well I am stopped because I don't
have the means." The Lord will open the way if we
will just step forward. And I will work with you
Uncle Merril on the monies and yet even the
equipment can come into our hands from other
avenues without a direct purchase and draining our
funds when we need it elsewhere.
I love you brethren. I bear witness the Lord is
watching us. And what He wants us to do is earn
the blessing, because the Lord is well aware that
when He hands a blessing to people they easily
treat it lightly. And He saw that at the beginning of
this next step, this step in the redemption of Zion,
in establishing the lands of refuge there was hardly
one person prepared for the redemption of Zion
among all the Priesthood people; and so He has
taken us through constant experience and training
to develop the faith to where we have to lean on the
Lord for the gifts and blessings. Now the Lord is
warning us: He will allow the tests to come upon us
so severe, we will have to exert the faith to even
survive. But faith is only faith if it is the prayer of
rejoicing. Remember that vital key.
In the dream I related to you at meeting where
everybody was pushing me, pushing me, and yet
they wouldn't allow me to open the door. Those
keys that opened the door are fervency. Another
one is the prayer of rejoicing. Another key that
opens the door of success is reach to be led and be
led. And then knowing the will of God the next
key is reach for the strength of heaven to do His
will and then keep that prayer of rejoicing. So
everybody pushing and when I would try to use the
key and nobody would do as they were directed,
the physical push doesn't redeem Zion, it is the
heavenly gift accompanying the physical work
that opens the doors of deliverance.
So when you meet challenges or seeming
roadblocks, it is time to regroup, have the prayer of
oneness, go to the Lord and don't justify a failure
ever again. And it will be the Lord testing us to see
if we are loyal to Him and you will see the miracles
of heaven take place. The Lord wanted me to give
you instructions before your ordinations. I thank
Him for you and let's go forward.
Uncle Fred, often father would lean up on a
chair when he stood, would you be willing to do

You will be set apart and given the office of
Bishop of this stake and then set apart on the
special mission to be a temple builder as the Lord
wants you to participate with the First Presidency
on the laying of the first three stones. And I am
telling you that by tomorrow night with Keith
Dutson and others putting an effort forth that we
three with you three present are to witness those
first two by two foot cube blocks cut to size and
polished at the right sides and then sometime the
next day, we lay those stones. But the footings
have to be poured by tomorrow night for those
stones and I need to go over that with you. So the
stones need to be prepared, the temple site on the
east end has to be prepared and I have already
instructed Leroy Steed and the others there what to
do.
So you and I will need to go there and go over
some things with Fred Lindsay. We have to know
which of the crew are men that can help on the
cement for those footings. The footings
themselves are four foot thick, four foot deep and
seven foot wide. That is a lot of cement that has to
be poured very quickly. And you need to make
sure the cement power is here. And the Lord is
allowing us to use the purchased cement powder to
begin that project and very soon He wants our
cement to be used. And the deadline on that is
August 20.
Did I say that date? My secretary reminds me.
August 20 is when the new cement, where we
process the rock here, comes forth. I will need to
go over that with you also.

Father, we ask you to look in mercy upon this, the
quorum of the First Presidency and these brethren
in mercy, seeking the Spirit of our calling and thus

with the Holy Ghost and the Lord will be with you,
and you will be an instrument in the redemption of
Zion and through your faithfulness, you shall be
favored to witness the miracles of heaven. And in
fulfillment of the Lord's direction, by the authority
of holy Priesthood, we set you apart on the mission
to be a temple builder and bestow upon you every
gift, right, blessing and power and the intelligence
of heaven to help guide that work and to work in
oneness with the Prophet and those appointed in
their different positions.
And we say to you dear brother: Guard that
temple with your faith and with your life, and keep
that land and that building sacred and make sure
the workers are accurate and perfect in the Lord's
will and become acquainted with the Lord's will in
every step. And as you keep sacred His will you
shall be blessed and favored and earn the presence
of God by ordinance, by teachings and through
authority, and the Lord will be with you. We
bestow these blessings in the authority and in the
name of God, by the authority of the Priesthood
and according to His will and say unto you: seek
the Spirit of this calling and you shall be blessed of
the Lord. And we do this in the name of Jesus
Christ, amen.

which we bear, we confirm upon you the
Priesthood of Melchizedek and ordain you to the

blessings of this office of the Priesthood and this
calling as first counselor to the Bishop.
And we say unto you dear brother: Seek unto
the Lord and He will inspire and guide and bless
you. Exert the gift and power of oneness which is
loyalty to the love of God exercised. And be close
to your good father and to the Prophet and to the
Lord. Do not judge quickly. Tum to the Lord for
His guidance and judgment. Do not turn to your
own knowledge and wisdom. Believe the Lord
will guide you to fulfill the directives of those over
you and seek the will of the Lord in all things.
Seek the Spirit of your calling with a constant
faith. We do this according to the grace and will of
God. By the authority of the holy Priesthood
confirming upon you the mission and calling to be
a temple builder as you are already set apart on that
mission and we do this in the name of Jesus Christ,

bear, we confirm upon you the Priesthood of
Melchizedek and the office of High Priest in the
Melchizedek Priesthood and at this time by the
Lord's appointment set you apart to the office,
mission and calling to be second counselor to the
Bishop in the Texas stake of Zion in the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And we bestow
upon you all the gifts, right, powers and blessings
pertaining to this office and calling.
And as you are now appointed to assist to be a
temple builder, by the authority of the holy
Priesthood, we set you apart as a temple builder, as
a missionary, as a temple builder and bestow upon
you every gift, right, blessing, and intelligence of
heaven that you hands will be guided, you will be
granted the skills and the abilities beyond what you
have known before. And in particular to guide and
help direct the steel work and assist in the stone
work and other areas. And as you prove faithful to
this mission this will earn you greater gifts and
ordinances. There are yet more ordinances you
must receive to qualify for the presence of God, but
as you fulfill this mission and be a strength to the
Bishop, and to the Prophet, and the redemption of
Zion, the Lord will be pleased with you to grant
you further gifts. At this time your heart is right
before the Lord. Continue humble and exert great
faith like unto the brother of Jared and be ye one.
We perform this ordinance according to the
Lord's will and power, asking Him to give you
witness of the burning peace even as our hands are
laid upon your head to bum in your mind and heart
and to strengthen you. And as you are appointed to
the special mission to be a temple builder. And the
Lord has revealed that those who labor on that
mission, their lives will be in danger. We seal
upon you by the keys and authority of the
Priesthood the Spirit of protection that your life
and your faith will be preserved as you continue in
the Lord. Do not take this lightly. But the angels
of heaven shall attend you and protect you as you
apply in faith to do the Lord's will, and all glory to
God in the authority of the Priesthood and in the

Dear brothers and sisters, the Lord has
appointed this special meeting that the people
working and dwelling on this land may receive His
message. Let us draw in the wanderings of our
minds. Be ye believing, and now realize that to
believe means to do. You only show you believe if
you do the will of God.
Prayer: President Wendell Nielsen
I seek unto our Heavenly Father for His Spirit to
give me utterance, to only do His will this day. I
only seek to learn the will of God and do it, for He
always does right; and I love you with His love. I
have witnessed with the laborers such a constant
push to catch up in the work, for we have fallen
behind the Lord's schedule, and this is what the
Lord was testing us on. As we missed His
scbedule He was seeing if we would stay at it.
And for most here, that portion of the test has been
passed.
The Lord has sent me to this land to perform a
work. Also the First Presidency is here to take the
next step in these important projects, and here we
sit in this meeting on August lO

day for the actual walls to be started in building the
temple, and we are not ready. How patient our
Heavenly Father has been with us. I acknowledge
Him in all things. He could already see our
weaknesses, perhaps sins. When you know a
weakness is wrong and you continue in that
weakness, then it turns and becomes a sin; and yet
we excuse ourselves thinking the Lord will just
forgive us forever in our wrongdoings, when we
know that to earn eternal life and dwell with God
forever and be a strength to His Kingdom, we must
individually qualify. And what the Lord is
searching for in the lives of every individual and
among this people is implicit, immediate, inspired,
joyful obedience.
The Lord is angry with this group of people.
How angry? He told me if I did not come here
quickly, He would have left this land desolate,
empty of inhabitants. But there has been a
continued physical push. He has shown me that
many here could feel the Lord's concern. They
have been seeking Him in great fervent prayer and
repentance. But now what, brothers and sisters?
How many times can we fail and the Lord do
nothing, and we be deceived that we are still
accepted when the blessings that He has offered
are not given, and He is fully able to give us the
gifts and blessings we need, but they do not come?
So the Lord has sent me to give a correction to
this people. I hope and pray that from this point on
we won't have to live from rebuke to rebuke. And
this warning and correction includes a judgment,
that from this time forth, for any of the men to be
dismissed and sent away from this mission, the
Lord withdraws Priesthood, that man loses his
Priesthood blessings and he cannot return here.
The Lord has told me to declare to the family
members that if you are dismissed from this
mission, you will not be able to return. The Lord is
through with the halfhearted in Zion's Camp. How
important is your fallen nature, your spiritual
laziness, even our bad feelings? Is it worth losing
everything for?
The Lord appointed certain men to be in charge,
under my direction, and in His patience He worked
with them. But these men continued in a condition
of challenging the Lord's will to where nearly
everything they were told to do, they found another
way or reasons to not accomplish what they were
told. All of you knew the Lord's schedule and that
we needed to be ready this day to begin the temple,
and you can see we are not ready. The Lord
showed me that if these men were not handled, He
would scourge all of Zion's Camp. And the Lord
has a lesson in this for us.
I love these men. The Lord told me they are
men after His own heart, like David of old. Their
sin is not the same. Last Thursday morning, when
the Lord showed me that these men continued
doing their own will and would not do the will of
God, He showed me what they were doing and
what their condition is. He was ready to destroy
them and their families and scourge all this people.
And He had me warn these men that they were
holding up the work of God, and if they didn't tum
this around immediately I would have to cast them
out.
Saturday afternoon, by phone, more
compromises were suggested and desired to go
against the Lord's will. The Lord took me in hand
and showed me how serious this was in His sight.
And He gave this revelation, which He wanted
written and presented to this people as a warning
and training of how important this mission is, that
we are not just affecting ourselves. And to open
your eyes, I say these words of truth: Through our
individual failure we could affect the lives of
others, and in a day of driving, persecution, and
thus killing and death, we, this Zion's Camp, could
be guilty of innocent blood shed by not having
performed our mission and prepared the way of
deliverance as we have promised the Lord we
would do. And it is individual selfishness. It is
deadly.
I don't go over all the detail incidents. Much of
my communication with these brethren was
private. But the Lord showed me when I was here
Wednesday and Thursday, He was angry with
these men and with this people. Brethren, the Lord
has shown me that some of you do not have the
Spirit 0 reve atlOn In Ive y exerCIse. ou, WIt an
outward sweetness, receive a directive and obey.
But you are lacking the spiritual growth. The Lord
told me through the night that this group of people
is in spiritual shambles in His sight, and a lot has to
do with the uninspired leadership that He has had
me correct.
I announce to this group of people that Ernest
Jessop and Allen Steed are dismissed and sent
away, and now the Lord has appointed and had the
First Presidency ordain and set apart Brother
Merril Jessop as the bishop and presiding elder of
this stake of Zion. Brother Raymond Jessop has
been ordained a high priest and is set apart as first
counselor to the bishop, and Brother Joseph Steed
has been set apart to the office of second counselor
to the bishop, a quorum that must act as one. Now
all you brethren will report to Brother Merril
Jessop to report to me, and give him your full
support. And thus far, even in this correction,
Brother Merril Jessop is approved of God.
The Lord wants me to read this revelation to
hopefully and finally wake us up of how important
this mission is. The Lord has also been watching
every person here as they have heard of this
dismissal and adjustment to see if you rejoiced in
the Lord or if you took on doubt and darkness and
bad feelings. I say to all of you, beware. When
men are told by the Lord what to do and they adjust
His directives, they become a conspiracy against
God, and if the Lord [were] to allow this to
continue and all of you follow that leadership, all
of you would have been destroyed, continuing on
the work of going against the Lord's will, right
when thought you were doing His will. We
forgive all men. I yearn after these men. I tum to
the Lord for His will to be done.
F or the families of these men, if you desire to
remain here, the Lord has a work and a place for
you. And the right thing to do is thank the Lord for
His will to be done. If anyone takes on the spirit of
sympathy against authority, questioning the
Lord's judgment, they will lose Priesthood and
Priesthood blessings.
I gathered a group of men here by phone. Some
of you have heard this, but the Lord wanted all the
people on this land to hear this revelation. And this
appltes to [he t1nIittles. IryOu are sent away, yOU
will lose the blessing. The men were offered an
honorable release, and if they continued here they
knew there would be serious results if they broke
their covenants.

1. Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my

the last days to perform the work of the
redemption of Zion and to prepare a people
for mine own presence among them:
2. Behold 1, the Lord, have rejected
Ernest Jessop as the presiding Elder in the
Texas Stake of Zion, for even now he has
called upon me through you, my servant, to
compromise my will unto him in the labors
appointed.
3. And I have borne with his weaknesses
and heard thy prayers in his behalf and

rely upon his own strength and will not apply
unto me, the Lord his God, for the guidance
and strength to do my will.
4. And let him remove himself and return
to the Short Creek Stake of Zion to do as he

my servant Merril Jessop to be set apart as
Bishop of the Texas Stake of Zion, and let
there be appointed as his counselors my
servant Raymond Jessop and my servant
Joseph Steed, to be a strength unto my
servant Merril Jessop in establishing my
cause of the fulness of Zion on that
consecrated land.
6. And let there be no disputations among
you, but accept of my will. And he who is
worthy, I will uphold through the trying
scenes; and he who is not worthy shall be cast

my servant, to perform a work in me: Seek

unto those who will obey my will through my

repent with full purpose of heart, lest sore
judgments come upon you, even upon the
lands of refuge. For I the Lord shall not be
mocked in these last days, but great sorrows
shall come upon those who disobey the
revelations of my will.

the sinner in Zion shall fear, and the pure in
heart shall be protected of me. And surely 1,
the Lord, have spoken it and shall fulfill.
12. And I say unto you, my servant, I, the
Lord, withdraw Priesthood from Ernest
Jessop, and his portion shall be with
unbelievers; and they who are appointed
unto him, /, the Lord, shall reserve them for
another, as they prove faithful unto me.
13. Let the quorum of the First
Presidency of my Church travel to the Texas
Stake of Zion and perform the work 1 have
appointed there.
14. And verily, 1 say unto you, my servant,
/, the Lord, shall reveal more of my will when
you arrive to that place.
15. The experience 1 am taking you
through in allowing you to suffer and atone
for my people who can qualify for the fulness
of Zion, and the experiences 1 shall yet allow
you to pass through, my servant, shall bring
about my purposes upon the earth in the
preparation of a people to redeem Zion. And
behold 1 am with you.
16. 1, the Lord, shallforgive whom 1 will
forgive. You are to forgive all men, my
servant and my people; and look unto me for
protection, deliverance, and blessings unto
eternal life.
17. This is the word of the Lord unto you
at this time. My peace be upon you, my
servant, and those who will hearken unto my
words through you. Even so, amen.
The work you are rushing to do right now, these
brethren were directed, and all of you knew of the
ditective, to be leady mId ltdve it perfulllled iUIIg
before the schedule had to be met, and here we are.
Even past the August 1 st schedule we weren't
ready. Now the Lord wants us to go forward with
the temple, and we are not ready. So the Lord is
calling upon the presiding elder and his counselors
to be so inspired that you look ahead to the needs
and are never caught short in what is required.
And it is for every elder to be fervent in their faith
for the presiding elder and for me that there will be
oneness exerted.
I was not asleep to these problems. I was
dealing with them constantly for months.
Repentance was offered, corrections were given
often, until it affected whether or not this mission
will succeed. And know this, dear people: We are
affecting the very lives of so many others. You
know the Lord's word through the Prophet Joseph,
to not live just for ourselves, but live unto God and
His purposes to be fulfilled.
Hesitation in our obedience is the sign of fear,
not faith. And hesitation is deadly in the economy
and work of God, and that is what has taken place.
lfthe Lord withdraws from this people, we will be
destroyed, scattered, and driven. And it is the
responsibility of every person on this mission to
live in the lively increase of the Spirit of God. And
each person here should feel the heavenly fire
burning within increasing moment by moment.
These brethren and some here have been dead
weight, having to be commanded in all things, not
reaching to be led, but judging from past
experience or self-wisdom.
Now, dear brethren and sisters, the Lord has
told me that we have demanded of Him hard
experience. And the experiences coming upon this
Priesthood people and upon us will be so severe, it
is a matter of our very survival, physically and
spiritually, that this mission succeed. And we will
face experiences where we will have to exert
ourselves. The Lord is going to do this because we
haven't done it on our own through the sweet
invitation of His word. Already I am under such
direct attack, it will affect all the people. The Lord
had me tell you that I must not submit to the
requirements of the government where they
demand to rule over the will of God and the
Celestial Law. And now you will be tested.
I say to my family and the families dwelling on
this land, the Lord is watching you. You were sent
here to serve everyone by building up the
storehouse, being a strength. And you are under
covenant to live the first two great commandments
unto perfection. And I repeat them. Are these just
words to you that you can dismiss when your
feelings rise up? These commandments earn you,
when lived, earn you eternal life. They should be
our very thought and breath and feeling and word,
to reach to be led to please God, to love Him, to
love the Lord your God with all your heart, might,
mind, and strength with a spiritual energy and
exertion to dwell in His will through prayer and
revelation, and thus dwell in His approval. And
then through that love focused on Him through
Priesthood, inspired, then you have the ability of
Him to love your neighbor as yourself, but always
first loyal to God.
We have much work to do. Our very lives are at
stake. The Lord allowed me to intervene, and He
has spared this people and this mission. And He
has now told me He will give us till the 12th of
August, two more days to have everything
prepared, and the First Presidency remain to lay
those first three blocks for the temple foundation. I
will need to meet with Brother Edmund, Brother
Fred Lindsay, Brother Merril Jessop and his
counselors, who have been set apart to build the
temple; and others have been named and set apart.
Especially for you men who have been set apart
by ordinance to be temple builders, if you betray
this mission, you will lose Priesthood, you will
lose everything. And betrayal is through the loss
ofthe Spirit of God. Temple builders must be men
that whatever they touch, through their faith and
the power of Priesthood, the Spirit of God
strengthens, beautifies, guides, and gives the
blessing. And the angels will attend you through
your faith, and skills will be revealed. But the Lord
has told me this group of people is in spiritual
shambles because you cannot be one with God and
go against His directives.
I love you, brothers and sisters. I have felt the
pain of sorrow in the heart of God over these men
and this people. And though I am but a mortal
man, through the Lord's doing it, if! were not here,
He has told me you would already have been
destroyed, every one of you. You have been
'\qtb: a aRtQ your life from tbis
moment on is because of the Lord's mercy. And
He loves us still. This is serious business.
I have been listening to the previous trainings in
my travels. It is marvelous. The Lord has given
such detailed warnings and teachings. We have
been taught. Perhaps only the little children could
be excused from this responsibility; and yet even
they are being watched by the heavenly powers.
You know Zion means obedience. You know Zion
is the Spirit of God. You know Zion is a labor and
constant revelation. Don't be dead weight. Reach
for the strength of heaven. Be inspired. The Lord
will guide us into a oneness with Him.
This meeting and this correction is a gathering
effort. We are stilling living a scattered faith. I say
to us, the Lord wants the First Presidency house
completely finished by August 20. So let the
bishop and his counselors see to that. There is
hardly a crew on it right now. It is being treated
very lightly; and here we are coming up to another
scheduled date and we are already missing it. At
the same time, the temple has to be pressed
forward. Only those appointed in that mission by
ordinance can be present when those first stones
are laid. Others can qualify, but you have to be
individuals that can dwell and work with the Spirit
of God and the angels attending. And if you are
not, you will be detected and sent away. This is the
Lord's house that we are bUilding. It is not just a
physical work project.
Now brethren and sisters, I told you the dream
showing our condition, where everybody was
behind me pushing, pushing, and yet we didn't use
the key to open the door. What opens the door?
What is the key? You have been given many keys.
To open the door of deliverance and success to
earn the blessings, first you must use the key of
faith. Next is the key of fervency and devotion,
that constant faith. You have the key ofthe prayer
of rejoicing. That opens the door of success. And
you have been given the key truth of reaching to be
led until you are led. And then you have the key of
reaching for the strength of heaven in following
those sweet whisperings.
The Lord showed me that there is a wonderful,
hard, physical push. He has left us at it, even
though we haven't met His schedule, to see if we
1XTOllJd yearn for the slJccess oftbis mission And
as hard as you have pushed physically, yes, you
have pleased the Lord to that degree. But for some
of us in our spiritual shambles, we are not applying
the personal growth. If you do all this physical
work, and even help build the temple, but you are
not growing spiritually, you will fall short and miss
the blessing of the temple ordinances and the
presence of God.
So I repeat with great emphasis, a physical
labor without spiritual growth, YOU ARE DEAD,
and you are dead weight. And the word of the Lord
is, if you continue in this manner, any of you, you
will be sloughed off. Now that is the warning. The
Lord's invitation is, He will be with us yet. Let us
refocus, get behind the appointed leadership, and
add spiritual strength to that leadership and to our
labors. You who look bak could falter. If you start
dwelling on all the whys and wherefores, you
could start questioning what the Lord has done.
We must look forward. To be Zion you are
building Zion, looking forward to the presence and
knowledge of God.
So the Lord gave us a test. Did you receive the
Lord's will when it came to your understanding-
did you receive His will with rejoicing, or did you
take on any degree of bad feelings? That will be
our test in every experience from now on. Even
unto suffering and death, the Lord will see if we
are Zion, if we are living in the prayer of rejoicing,
reaching to be led, and thus living in the lively
increase of the Spirit of God, so your feelings are
never disturbed. And though I weep over these
men, and any others that have to be handled among
our whole Priesthood people, I love the will of
God, and His will is life when we abide His will.
And we are working for the salvation of all
mankind of all ages who will obey the Gospel of
Jesus Christ through Priesthood. And the
Priesthood in the spirit world and the Priesthood in
the Celestial Kingdom and the Priesthood on earth
is working as one as we do the Lord's will, all for
this grand cause of the fulness of Zion being
established.
We have had many corrections. The Lord was
ready to scourge us for so many of turning traitor,
where we broke confidence, revealed the secrets
He had given us, as He tested us to see if we could
endure the knowledge of the temple and temple
ordinances. But even yet, the gossip, the rumor
mill, it is all betrayal of the Lord's trust. Leave
judgment to God. Let us do right. And be warned,
that we have entered into such great and sacred
covenants with the Lord by receiving this mission,
with blessings beyond measure offered, that if we
break those covenants, we will be cursed, and none
of us wants that. So you have taken a step of no
return to back to what you were before. You have
taken a step toward the Celestial Kingdom and the
fulness of Zion.

36. And behold, I say unto my people:
The Lord's word in April,
36. ... do not look back; but be believing
and exercise perfect faith in me, the Lord
your God, and establish my cause of Zion; for
the powers of heaven shall attend an obedient
people who seek unto me, through my
servant, and through obeying every word of
God, and through the repentance of all your
sins and weaknesses; dwelling in the lively
increase of the love of the Father through my
Spirit burning in you.
37. Behold, the laborers who are called
on this mission to build and establish Zion in
fulness on the lands of refuge, must needs
more fully repent of their unbelief and
light-mindedness; and seek unto me for the
powers of heaven to rest upon them, to
strengthen them in a time of weakness; and to
reveal to their minds the skills and the
abilities to do the work I have commanded
them.
It should make our hearts thrill that the Lord is
the Leader, Judge, and Guide of this people and
this mission. This correction should awaken every
person to the reality to finally wake up that we are
being watched, judged, and we are affecting the
lives of so many other people. Let every person
lend their full strength, faith, and determination to
the success of this mission in drawing from the
heavens every gift needed, and eventually the
Lord's own presence among us. And if we don't
qualify to build that temple, WE ARE LOST.
Now you families, lend strength, spiritual
strength, your earthly labors with a spiritual
strength, and live so the Lord can't help but bless
everyone in their work. Remember the story in
Moses' time of Achan when the Israelites
conquered, in Joshua's time, when the Israelites
conquered Jericho. The Lord said, "Don't do this
thing," in taking the riches of that city and putting
it in their own thing, their own area, their own
possession. One man, just one man taking a gold
wedge and some silver and garments, hiding it in
his tent, caused the Lord to withdraw from that
people. And when they were sent to conquer
another city, many of the Israelites were killed.
The Prophet asked, "Why? Why have you brought
us here just to die?" The Lord said, "It is because
there is evil among you and I cannot be with you."
He withdrew His protection from them because of
secret evils. That man was handled, and then the
Lord continued with the people.
Now you who dwell in fear, you will be
detected. I say to you, tum to repentance to have
peace, the peace of heaven restored to your soul.
Make confession. Tell the Lord you are
determined to do His will with His help. Don't
pray yourself away now. There soon won't be a
place to go. And your own families, dear brethren,
and our families need our success. It is real. The
hate of our enemies is so fierce now against me and
the faithful people, they will feel justified to
persecute and mob and destroy, just like the mobs
did in days of old. And you know this is a
murderous and adulterous generation on this
continent, and the Lord is allowing events to take
place now that will bring about the whirlwind
judgments to preserve the faithful, those who can
qualifY for Zion.
We have much work to do. I was only to keep
you here for a short time. I have delivered the
word ofthe Lord. Honestly, with the Lord, do you
believe, receive, and will you do?
Response: Yes.
How I am yearning for us and all Zion's Camp.
But it is those who have entered into this mission
by oath and covenant that are holding back the
redemption of Zion right now. Let it not be so any
longer. With all of this, I still rejoice in Heavenly
Father, that He has all power to fulfill His will, and
His will be done. I love you. God bless you. Let
us search for every directive to be fulfilled. And if
you are obeying one commandment and at the
same time you are disobeying other
commandments, you are not obedient, and
revelaUon of me ~ p t t t t of Ciod will lead yOU to
fulfill all the commandments of God.
Let there be a lively communication between
you, Brother Fred Lindsay, and you, Uncle Merril,
and these men; and whoever is placed as a crew
boss, report often. Make sure reporting and
accounting is in place. Through reporting for duty
and giving an accounting of that duty, you become
an extension of the Priesthood over you, and that is
how oneness is exerted. Without reporting and
accounting, you could be living in your own will,
uninspired of heaven.
I deliver this message and say press forward.
Add spiritual strength. Don't let bad feelings enter
in. Don't allow sympathy against authority to
touch you. Your deliverance from that major sin
that will make you lose Priesthood, your
deliverance from that evil is to keep alive the
prayer of rejoicing in Heavenly Father. Keep
rejoicing in His will being done. That is my life, to
do the will of my father, and thus Heavenly Father,
to do their will with rejoicing and dwell in their
approval, and that is what I yearn for you, for that
is how you live eternal life, not just earn it, but you
live eternal life in the constant prayer of rejoicing,
reaching to be led, and thus strengthened of the
Lord, and you become an extension of God and a
strength to His work, and His smile will shine upon
you and within you. Obedience is so joyfuL Let us
not be distracted ever again from the will of God.
And if you don't reach to be led, you are distracted
to do your own selfish will.
Brothers and sisters, the Lord has told me He
will allow every test and trial to come up in our
way to see if we will stay at this mission, to see if
we will develop and earn and exercise the faith of
the brother of Jared.
The First Presidency will remain here through
the 12th. I need a big cement project done at the
temple site for those who are appointed. We have
much to do. Before the Lord would allow me to
bring more people here, He wants Zion's Camp
cleaned up. So there is a choosing taking place
right now. The Lord is choosing from among
Zion's Camp who is worthy to continue. If you
desire to be chosen of the Lord, here is the key:
YOU CHOOSE HIM every minute, every thought,
every desire. You choose Him, reaching to be led,
and He wjJJ choose yO]] and no more will have to
be sent away. But I give you His warning: If you
don't live as you have promised, this work must
not stop. Some of you have written letters saying,
"I am willing to be sent away if I have to."
Brethren, what choice is that? It is the loss of
Priesthood, the loss of your family, the loss of
everything. It isn't a choice. You were offered
that honorable release. Now that is withdrawn.
But let us do the will of God out of the love of the
truth, the love of God, and dwell in the joy of the
heavenly increase.
May the Lord bless us. He will be with us yet if
we will do our part. That is encouragement. Let us
go forward. I deliver His message in the name of
Jesus Christ, amen.

4:30 p.m. Richard Barlow Temple Mission
Dear Brother, as you are, if you are receiving
this mission willingly, you are making an oath and
covenant with the Lord that you will keep sacred
things secret and what you are told about the
temple and it's design, cannot be told to anyone.
You will also help protect that place when you are
there to not let unauthorized people come. As the
Lord has me warn each of these laborers placed
under this mission, that ifthey break this covenant,
you lose Priesthood and you will be sent out, you
lose everything. But think ofthe blessings offered,
the Lord wants the temple builders to earn the gift
to be a temple worker.
The Lord has a special mission for you and it
will involve besides building the building it will be
involved in your painting the murals in certain
rooms. So you will need to seek the gifts of
revelation, I will show you some pictures,
paintings depicting sacred people are a mockery,
the Lord showed me what is in the present temples
is a mockery where they depict Adam and Eve, or
Joseph Smith or whatever. We don't have that
right to depict sacred people and events. But I will
explain to you more on this. You need to seek this
gift in faith, part of your mission will be to help
beautify the temple.

Understand this is not an ordination of
Priesthood authority but to set you apart on a
mission. There are other ordinances you will need
to receive to earn the presence of God, but this is a
vital step.
Prayer
Our dear faithful brother, Richard Jessop
Barlow, by the appointment of the Lord through
the revelations of His mind and will, we your
brethren, place our hands upon your head and in
the authority of the Holy Me1chizedek Priesthood
which we bear, we set you apart on the mission to
be a temple builder and bestow upon you all the
gifts, rights, blessing and intelligence of Heaven to
be a strength and a skilled laborer in this great
mission of helping to build the Lord's house.
We appoint unto you of the Lord to seek the gift
to beautify the Lord's house, in paintings and in
other labors and to seek unto Him of what He
wants done and work in oneness with the Prophet
and the Lord's will and set aside all previous
traditions and take on the spirit of conviction to the
revelations of Heaven. As you are appointed to
this mission, the very powers of earth and hell, the
powers of earth guided by the powers of evil, will
seek your life and to stop this mission. And thus in
the authority of the Priesthood and by the keys and
powers thereof, we place a seal of protection upon
you that as you continue faithful, reaching to be led
in all things, the spirit of protection and revelation
will guide and be with you and your life preserved.
Know this dear brother, at this time you stand
approved of God, only be more humble, keep
silent and sacred the knowledge you gain of the
temple, of the rooms and the placement of the
rooms, leave sacred things in the Lord's hands to
direct and do your part and He will be with you
from on high and how great shall be your joy as
you earn greater blessings through faithfulness to
this mission.
I bless you that your family will be protected,
provided for, and that you will concentrate on this
mission DO not be distracted frow the T ord OT tbiS
mission. The Lord will be with you and your
family from on high. We pronounce this according
to the will of God and through your continued
faithfulness by the authority of the Priesthood and
in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

8:14 p.m. Dictation
I am at R17. My last dictation was at the end of
the day Saturday night into Sunday morning. I
went through a heavenly session for a few hours
until around 3 :00. You are right, I continued in the
heavenly session after that experience with Allen
Steed and Ernest Jessop being handled. The Lord
allowed me to feel His heartache and yearning for
those men and for this people and I felt just sick
over them yearning for them, aching for them, yet
rej oicing in the Lord that the Lord's will was being
done. I was directed to be sure to leave by 4:30 in
the morning and Uncle Fred and Uncle Wendell to
leave a half hour later. And we traveled through
Sunday and all of us arrived around 9:30 p.m.
Sunday night. I got the first - Uncle Fred and
Uncle Wendell settled and told them I would meet
them the next morning I hoped and I went around
to the projects to see how far they were and they
were still not even halfway done with the meeting
house block or rock on the outside. I realized I was
coming to a people that were greatly humbled
yearning unto the Lord to show me what to do to
keep this mission progressing.
Sunday night from 11 :30 until, well all day
Monday, Monday night into Tuesday morning, I
have been through the heavenly session. The Lord
is taking me through training on preparing the
ladies to assist me for a time of greater suffering
and atonement. The atonement process is also a
preparation for me to be able to endure more and
more severity with rejoicing and the ladies to assist
me where it gets so severe that I literally approach
death; nearly every day now, yet the Lord said He
would heal me, but it takes faith and an effort to
keep me here though I am willing to stay. Every
revelation requires an atonement. I am yearning
unto the Lord to be more prepared. I also feel the
change taking place in me. I don't know that I
sleep. It is a condition of the Lord taking charge of
me and renewin me each time. I thank Him for
this grand experience. The Lord allowed me to
atone for this people as He was so displeased with
this people on this land of refuge that He was ready
to destroy them and He required of me a more
severe atonement in a conscious state than I have
ever experienced; morning and then evening
through the nights.
The Lord sure has been training me in many
things. I yearn to become like Him. But He
showed me that I was to go ahead and do the
ordinations of Uncle Merril the Bishop and his
counselors Raymond Jessop and Joseph Steed;
also I set apart Uncle Wendell and Uncle Fred as
temple builders and temple workers, and they laid
their hands on my head and set me a part for those
missions officially that we could enter the temple
as the Lord directs and the endowment houses.
Also Richard Barlow, Alvin Barlow's son was set
apart on the mission to be a temple builder.
I visited all the brethren I could find, shook their
hand, looked in their eyes as the Lord directed. I
detected a concern in David W. Steed, Allen
Steed's son as he confessed a struggle in his
feelings and also Joseph Newel Jessop, Uncle
Merril's son, concerning Ernest, struggling in his
feelings. I explained to them they should rejoice
that God lives and He is guiding this work - keep
the rejoicing prayers working. I did confront
LeRoy Steed, Nephi Jeffs and Allan Keate told
them the Lord was greatly displeased with them
for leaving the mission before it was done. I told
them to emphasize it to them that the Lord had told
me they would have been destroyed by now if it
hadn't been for the Lord allowing me to intervene
in their behalf. I did meet with the First Presidency
this morning at 10:40. My scribe was present. We
performed the ordination work but I first talked to
the First Presidency and had Naomie bear
testimony of the experience Saturday what she
witnessed when I received the revelation of God
correcting those men at R17. I explained to Uncle
Wendell and Uncle Fred that the Lord is cleaning
up Zion's camp. I rejoice how Uncle Wendell and
Uncle Fred, inspired men, receive the revelations
of God and uphold His will with a perfect oneness.
On Monday night even after recovering to a
great degree I continued through the night with
such an inward ache and pain and yearning. I was
hardly able to descri e It t ese ays. e or
preparing me for a greater sacrifice. I am willing
to do whatever He requires for the redemption of
Zion and bringing a people into His presence. 0
may I be better prepared and more inspired of
heaven.
I visited the brethren then appointed a meeting
at 3 :00. We held a meeting at 3 :00 in the afternoon
today. A strong correction was given and the
brethren were warned if they are dismissed from
this mission now they will lose Priesthood and all
their blessings. And the ladies were warned ifthey
are sent away they could not return. The people
were greatly humbled. They all indicated by the
raise of hands that they upheld the word of the
Lord and would fulfill with the Lord's help.
Before the meeting I told Ernest Jessop's former
ladies that they would be sealed elsewhere and to
prepare themselves. After the meeting I talked
with Merril Jessop, Fred Lindsay, Joseph Steed,
Ray Jessop, Edmund Barlow about getting the
footings done on the temple so we could lay that
block in getting the first three blocks.
Uncle Merril informed me some of Edmund
Barlow's calculations that so many thousands of
stones need to be processed in fifty days - well,
twenty to thirty days. They would need to do about
170 stones a day. And I explained to them they
can't just use their earthly judgement; seek the
Lord even to find the equipment we need to do this
fast enough.
I then talked to Uncle Merril alone gave him
instructions on the projects, gave him training on
how to work with the men and what the Lord was
doing with us. He mentioned the need for sleep, I
said that is fine but if the Lord's schedule needs to
be met you have got to keep going and the Lord
promised an instant renewal to these men if they
would seek Him in faith. Also I discussed the
ripping out of the concrete around the meeting
house, the flat work replacing it with the new
concrete. I place Uncle Merril under oath and
covenant to keep sacred and secret the formula for
the new concrete and updated him on that project.
And I told him I strongly recommend you move
the kiln and not have it by the batching plant and
put a building over it. I also told him they need to
get the power to the temple sight and the water and
drill the well.
We sure need the Lord's guidance and
protection. Uncle Merril received it all in faith and
is going forward and it will take the faith of
everyone here, not just our leaders. Everyone
needs to be fervent.
I met with Edmund Barlow, went over more
details on the temple. He asked me questions I
don't have the answers to yet. I yearn unto the Lord
to show me how to come out with the exact
dimensions with the space in the rock and if we
decrease the size of the rock slightly so that center
to center at the rods it is two feet instead of the
block themselves.
I gave the time schedule for September 29, the
end of September for
Naomie: ???
I think, what I remember is the 1886 meeting
was September 26,27, or so.
Naomie: September 29, was that the day Joseph
and Oliver were on the banks of the Susquehanna
River.
That was June.
After I met with Edmund Barlow, I met with
Allen Steed's former ladies. Leona Steed
immediately wanted to go back to Short Creek;
come under her son's domain, Marian Steed. The
others wanted to stay. I turned to Leona Steed and
said, "But then you will never come back. You
have been appointed a special mission here and if
you reject it, you won't be back. Now what are you
going to?" And I warned her that she is deciding
these things out of emotion. I taught them about
correct principle and not living by emotion and she
withdrew the request and was willing to stay and I
was grateful. I told Leona Steed and Ada that their
father Uncle Roy had everything to do with them
being there, being here at R17 and why would they
want to go away when they could be a help here to
prepare for others. So that got settled. I got
connected with Paul Steed in Short Creek and told
him to guide the family for now in prayers and
reading. Leona Steed and the ladies here
connected with Paul on the phone to send them
their things. I told them they come under my
direction and the Bishop's direction.
I did inform Raymond Jessop today that he
''''Quld be recej'ring the former ladieS of Ernest
Jessop. So he had a lot to absorb today. He was
reaching for what to do next. Merril Jessop is to
move into the basement of Raymond Jessop's area
but the house will be connected to be one house for
Raymond Jessop. So you see how the Lord
prepares things. We continue on. Maybe with
eight bedrooms in each side they could all join as
one and they could open up that whole apartment
for Uncle Merril. That is what I am thinking;
except for I have got Edmund .....

Both parts would join. Because we have still
got Mike Emmack and Edmund downstairs.
Okay. I was in that interview until getting late. I
felt such a yearning what to do next. May the Lord
help me. I need to do better. May He guide me
even in preparing for these heavenly sessions.
I have the report from Short Creek that my wife
Janetta has disappeared. They don't know where
she is. They only assume she is hiding on the
property. So I am in for some more experience.
Whatever the Lord wills I will go through. I
informed LeRoy Jeffs and also the Bishop William
Jessop that Allen Steed and Ernest Jessop didn't
hold Priesthood and have been sent back to Short
Creek.
May the Lord bless us to start this temple on the

Our dear faithful sister, Margaret Lucille Jessop
Jeffs, calling upon the Lord to allow the Priesthood
on the other side of the veil as He will to assist and
by the Lord's appointment lay our hands upon
your head in the authority ofthe holy Melchizedek
Priesthood which we bear and by the keys and
powers thereof, we seal the love of God in your
mind and heart as a daily increase to flow into you
through your living faith.
We bless you dear sister with that constant gift
to prepare you for the greater knowledge and
ordinances of God. And as you apply unto the
Lord from this time forth you shall feel the
all-consuming fire and be favored with a witness in
oneness with your husband with heavenly events,
heavenly experiences. And as you give your all to
be a strength to thy husband you will come to know
of the all-consuming fire and burning peace
beyond measure and be more prepared for the
presence of God as He wills. We do this by the
Lord's appointment.
And we say to you, dear sister: Be ye filled with
the Holy Ghost from this time forth. And pray
Heavenly Father to allow this dear sister to feel His
burning peace even now during this ordinance as a
witness that you accept of her. At this time she
stands pleasing in your sight. Be comforted dear
sister, the Lord has recognized your faith and even
now the Spirit of God shall increase within you.
Pronounce this blessing according to the Lord's
will and your continued faith. Remember this is in
preparation for greater ordinances and blessings.
This is not the end but the beginning of your
acquaintance with that constant increase of
all-consuming fire that you may draw close
through a greater oneness with thy husband, and
say this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
