The Death Penalty

The death penalty is a big debate topic because there are a lot of reasons or arguments that agree and disagree about the idea of killing criminals can make them pay for their crimes. But to talk about the entire topic it is necessary to go around a lot of ethical, personals and religious values that people have to think before saying something that can go against them. The death penalty is a very important topic to talk about because: a) it can cut down the big number of criminals that have been freed due to the authoritys deficiency. b) Death penalty also can make criminals to think about not to do more faults and make conscience about the big damage they are doing to all their victims. c) And finally because it causes a big controversy between people due to there are people who agree and people who disagree. Death penalty can cut down the big number of criminals that have been freed due to the authoritys deficiency, because when a very bad criminal get into the jail they just have to pass a few days to that man or woman get out of the jail with only pay a tax, and they are not receiving the necessary punishment for their faults. So if the authority kills the criminal they are not going to be again in the streets killing people or abusing them sexually. The death penalty also can make criminals to think about not to do more faults and make conscience about the big damage they are doing to all their victims, because it could be like an example of what would happen if they continue committing crimes, or in other words if they, what could happen if they do not stop with the damage they are causing to the society and be sorry for that. Finally, death penalty causes a big controversy between people due to there is people who agree and people who disagree about the topic, that is why in a lot of countries death penalty has been abolished, because some people say the it is ok for the reasons before mentioned, but more people say that it is bad because also the religion reject it. Although it is normal to listen that death penalty is wrong because nobody have the right to decide if a person lives or not, and that is why the people have a big controversy, because if they want to be a good christian, they cannot kill another one. And also people have to think that maybe they are killing a murderer, but if they are killing him, they are also murderers, so in that case they would have to be killed too. So there are a lot of reasons to accept the death penalty in a country law, but it exist the most important reason to reject it, God, because he does not want that people kill people, because we cannot be criminals taking the justice in our hands; we have to be good brothers and help others to be good people, like Jesus help us dying in the cross for us.
