PSALM 31 v 19 to PSALM 32 v I1 Seed Thoughts On God's Chosen People PSALM 32 v 5 A REPENTANT AND FORGIVEN PEOPLE ; I acknowledged my sin unto

you and my iniquity have I not hid. I said I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord, and You forgave me the iniquity of my sin. v 1-2 ; Blessed is He whose transgression is forgiven whose sin is covered Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputes not iniquity and in whose spirit there is no guile. There is no chance of reconciliation with God without true repentance and forgiveness of sins. If we are sincere about our repentance and forgiveness then let us be sincere in worshipping God and following His commandments. PSALM 31 v 20 A DELIVERED PEOPLE You shall hide them in the secret of Your presence from the pride of man. You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues . PSALM 91 v 2 . I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge, and my fortress, my God in Him will I trust. Christ has redeemed us by the shedding of His blood on Calvary's Cross and by His rising from the dead after three days, He has made us new creations. 2 CORINTHIANS 5 v 17-19 ; Therefore if any man be in Christ , he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. PSALM 31 v 19 ; A JOYFUL PEOPLE . 0 how great is Your goodness. V 21 ; Blessed be the Lord for He has shown us His marvellous kindness. There will be great joy in the Christian's heart when he can publicly say he belongs to the family of God. 2 CORINTHIANS 7 v 4 ; Great is my boldness of speech toward you, Great is my glorying of You, I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. PSALM 67 v 34 ; Let the people praise You 0 God, let all the people praise you. 0 let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for You shall judge the people righteously and govern the nations upon the earth. Previously our sins were hidden from others but the Holy Spirit worked on our conscience and warned us of the consequences of hidden sin. PSALM 31 v 23 ; A LOVING AND GRATEFUL PEOPLE. 0 love the Lord, all you saints PSALM 73 v 18-19 ; Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel who only does wondrous things. And blessed be His glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. How surprised we would be if we took pen and paper and wrote down all the things that God has done for us and that we have not thanked Him for them. Are we loving and caring for one another as Jesus told us to JOHN 15 v 12 ; This is My commandment that you love one another as I have loved you., EPHESIANS 3 v 17 ; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith, that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height. And to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. PSALM 31 v 6 ; A PRAYING PEOPLE. For this shall everyone that is Godly pray to You

in a time when You may be found. Our prayers reach up to God at any time during the day or night. JOHN 15 v 7 ; If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will and it shall be done unto you.- Repentance and forgiveness opens the way for the Christian to approach .God in prayer and praise, with the promise that God will hear. 1 TIMOTHY 2 v 8 ; I will therefore that men pray everywhere lifting up Holy hands, without wrath and doubting. EPHESIANS 6 v 18 ; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance. PSALM 32 v 6-7 ; A PROTECTED PEOPLE Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. You are my hiding place and shall preserve me from trouble. The Christians are God's family and He cares for each one of us. JOHN 10 v 27-29 ; My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish neither shall any man pluck them out of My hand. My Father which gave them Me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. What comfort here is in God's great promises and watchfulness. PSALM 91 v 14-16 ; Because He has set his love upon Me therefore will I deliver- him. I will set Him on high because he has known My name He shall call upon Me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him. PSALM 31 v 19-20 ; A CONFIDENT PEOPLE. How great is your goodness which You have laid up for them that fear You . PSALM 32 v 11. A WITNESSING PEOPLE. And shout for joy all you who are upright in heart. There is no hiding the fact that you believe in God when you are singing His praises and witnessing to the unsaved. If you are really one of God's chosen people you will be living and trusting in the victorious Christian life which will reveal the love of Jesus in your heart for the unsaved and needy folk around you. ACTS 5 v 32 ; And we are His witnesses in these things and so also is the Holy Ghost whom God has given to them that obey Him. MATTHEW 28 v 19-20 Go you therefore and teach all nations , baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. PSALM 32 v 11 ; A UNITED PEOPLE. And shout for joy all you who love the Lord. The love for God and each other are two things that should unite the Christian in a common bond of witnessing and caring about each other. The Holy Spirit can work wonders with a receptive heart. If you want to erect a church building in one weekend you need a congregation who are of one mind and one accord willing to come together with sufficient zeal and skills. PSALM 31 v 23. AN EXPECTANT PEOPLE. The Lord preserves the faithfuI1. The true followers of Jesus are joyfully waiting for the promised rapture of Christ's church, when at the rapture the Christians will be taken up to heaven arid presented to God. I THESSALONIANS 5 v 23 ; And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly and I pray God your whole spirit arid soul and body be preserved blameless unto to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ JOHN 11 v 25-26 ; Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life, He that believes in me, though he were dead yet shall he live and whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Believe you this ? I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me Confused at the grace so freely He proffers me. I tremble to know that for me he was crucified That for, me a sinner He suffered, He bled and died.
