Working Experience:
Working as a trainee engineer in M/s Instruments and Controls, Kolkata-84 from 1st July

2010. Work includes service and maintenance of Process control Instruments for the clients such as Philips Carbon Black Ltd., Durgapur ; Indian Oil, Budge Budge; Nicco Corporation (Projects Division), Kolkata; Indian Oil (Paharpur), Kolkata. Key features learnt from the work experience:

Calibration of Level Transmitters (both analog type and smart type), Level indicators. Calibration of pressure gauges using master pressure gauges and dead weight testers and hydraulic or pneumatic pumps. Testing of RTDs and Thermocouples as well as calibration of temperature transmitters using RTD and TC sources using temperature calibrators and calibrating temperature indicators. Calibration of Pressure switches using multimeters, pressure pumps and master pressure gauge. Servicing of Control valves and calibration of Valve Positioner (pneumatic type).

Other Qualifications:
Undergone a short course in designing of Autonomous Robots from Advanced Robotics

and Electronics Laboratory, Kolkata.

Have taken active participation in Autonomous and Manual Robotics Competitions in

various Engineering Colleges which includes IIT Kharagpur (finalists securing 8th position), IIT Guwahati (semi finalists securing 5th position), Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata (finalists securing 3rd position as a team).
Had the opportunity of working on a project of setting up of a 120 MW fifth unit in Tata

Power Company Limited, Jamshedpur to its existing 427.5 MW comprising of 4 units and thereby submitting a project report on Jojobera Thermal power plant with a detailed study on Honeywell Experion PKS DCS System with C200 controllers.

 Have undergone two weeks of Industrial Training at Durgapur Steel Plant (SAIL) and also

conducted a project report on Instrumentation and its applications in Durgapur Steel Plant. Key features learnt from the training based project at Tata Power,Jamshedpur (Unit-5 120 MW Project):

Conversant with Cable schedule, cable tray work, cable termination in both the system cabinet TBs of DCS as well as termination in the Local instruments enclosures and racks (LIE/LIR) in the field side. Conversant with the studying and drawing of instrument loop diagrams from the field side to the control room side using AutoCAD software. Conversant with specification parameters for Instrument I/O list. Conversant with reading of P&IDs with an understanding of the different flowsheet symbols. Conversant with the different JB schedules (both analog JB as well as digital JB schedule). Conversant with the hardware architecture of Honeywell Experion PKS DCS system with C200 controllers. Conversant with AutoCAD software package used for basic 2D drawings and presently undergoing a certificate course in AutoCAD 2007 from a state government recognized institute.

Computer Proficiency: Basics, MS- Office, C, Assembling Language Programming, AutoCAD 2007(presently in the process of learning).
