Background. Nationalized Banks are currently recruiting across the India in many of the lucrative positions. Bank Officer, System Administrator, and Maintenance are few them. Recently seventeen banks are recruiting jointly and they promise to recruit in coming years. Even nationalized banks did recruitment from many of the self financed colleges. In the last year United Bank of India did campus recruitment from JIS College of Engineering. Problem Statement. Presents any one of the existing nationalized Core Banking System (CBS) with the following aspects:

Allocation of Data: The location of the database servers, name of the database products, capacity of the database server in GB in national and international levels. Backup: Methodology used for taking backup, frequency and period of backup. Day to day operations: o Day to day operation between CBS and branches that must include debit and credit in cash, cheque clearing, loan disbursement, and loan repayment. o Day to day functioning between CBS and Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) that must include cash withdraw by the customers and cash loading by the bankers. o Day to day functioning between CBS and debit card purchase. Network: capacity of the bandwidth, abstract representation of BANKNET network.

The representation should be diagrammatic with point wise explanations in passive voice. Learners are advised to represent diagram with their own understanding of the technology/functionality. MCA students are expected to elaborate more details on first three bullets whereas ECE is the last one. Any inclusion of features akin to ECS, online banking, security or anything else will be highly appreciated. Assignment must be submitted on the A4 sheet. The format of the document conforms to 12 point justified text with 1.15 line spacing, 14 point first level heading, 13 point second level heading, and each diagram must include caption at the bottom. Students are also advised to attach the reference section at the end of the document. See any book for the format of the reference section.
