GES Specific Goals - FY12

Achieve at least 1500 client service hours in FY12 Demonstrate a general knowledge of the economics of Deloitte Tax and the profitability of engagements. Update StaffTrak for the entire fiscal year and continue to regularly update it on weekly basis based on workload. Adhere to daily time reporting requirements with use of task codes/types Tax Consultant II to achieve at least 150 review hours (05 - Detail Review) I will keep my PTIN status updated in GA Tracker. I will follow-up regularly with IRS, if I haven't received my PTIN yet. I will ensure most updated status of my PTIN or PTIN application is available with Tax operations team. I will follow-up regularly with IRS, if I haven't received my PTIN yet. Adhere to firm protocols for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and use of Tracker and eRooms Acquire / Deepen personal level of technical expertise in your area. Work towards completion of accreditation based on service line requirements. Enroll in accreditation program and contribute to study circles (examples include Enrolled Agent, Global Professional in Human Resources, Project Management Professional). Develop knowledge in at least one specialty area other than your primary area: minimum 10% of total annual chargeable hours Build a positive work environment and bring ideas for improvement to leadership and resource management Serve as a buddy to new hires Complete 80 hours of learning as evidenced by DLC learning history Complete all mandatory courses outlined in the learning roadmap Adhere to training program registration and cancellation guidelines Adhere to new CE! competency levels and learning requirements for FY12 (including completion of 75% of learning hours by mid-year). Work towards getting to Mastery level. Communicate all unplanned PTO directly to local team leader or expatriate or resource manager

Participate in client engagement meetings. Identify & fill at least two additional activities which can be transitioned to USI Involve actively in the billing process and review bills prepared by CMG professionals, if approved by engagement management. Work with engagement teams to increase out of scope billings. Ensure "As One" protocols are being followed Attend at least one talent acquisition event (examples include campus recruitment & technical interviews) Explore opportunities to expand current services at existing clients Participate in targeting effort for a new client relationship Participate in external and internal activities (Community involvement, task forces) to build network of contacts, both within and outside of Deloitte Tax. Personally mentor at least one professional and take responsibility for regular feedback and work quality for that professional. Achieve at least 1500 client service hours in FY12 Update StaffTrak for the entire fiscal year and continue to regularly update it on weekly basis based on workload Adhere to daily time reporting requirements with use of task codes. Drive effective use of task codes within team Major portion of client service hours to be review hours (05 - Detail Review) Demonstrate a general knowledge of the economics of Deloitte Tax and the profitability of engagements. I will keep my PTIN status updated in GA Tracker. I will follow-up regularly with IRS, if I haven't received my PTIN yet. Involve QRM for any issues where we agree to do work for free where we may have made a mistake. Notify engagement manager to take this issue forward with the PPD. Involve the engagement partner on those positions that are identified in the technical positions memos as requiring their involvement.

Develop action plan with CMG support, if needed, to address renewal timeline. Ensure 'As One' protocols are followed. Evaluate prior and current year authorization lists to identify potential IRP candidates (creation of IRP target list). Work with engagement management to ensure that all potential IRP clients are contacted regarding Deloitte offered IRP tax preparation services. Work with Senior Managers/PPDs and explore opportunities to work on consulting projects. Involve actively in on client annual reports process Participate in and support the Propel Initiative Attend at least one talent acquisition event (examples include campus recruitment & technical interviews for pan-India hiring for tax) Attend all HYD Tax leadership meetings and other events Increase Hyderabad team utilization by X% of total hours managed from previous fiscal year (refer to region for specific hours). Train & develop compliance team on reviewing returns Personally counsel at least two professionals, if approved by the Regional Leadership. Take responsibility for regular feedback and drive work quality. Improve engagement economics and Gross Client Margin by applying appropriate pricing strategies, appropriate leverage on engagements and improved efficiencies. Achieve at least 1250 client service hours in FY12. Ensure the team achieves its goal as well. Adhere to daily time reporting requirements with use of task codes.
