Penyakit magh sudah menjadi penyakit yang tidak asing lagi untuk kita ketahui.
Penyakit ini tidak memandang usia, tua maupun muda bisa saja terserang penyakit
magh. Bahkan parahnya, sakit magh dapat merenggut nyawa seseorang, contohnya
yang terjadi pada Fadly Albar, putra ketiga musisi Ahmad Albar yang meninggal di
usia 35 tahun.

2. Jelaskan mengapa sistem penyangga penting dalam cairan tubuh kita?
Jawab: Larutan penyangga dapat mempertahankan pH yang terdapat pada
tubuh kita. Dalam keadaan normal, pH cairan tubuh termasuk darah itu 7,35 –
7,5 walaupun sejumlah besar ion H+ selalu ada hasil metabolisme dari zat-zat.
tetapi keadaan setimbang harus selalu dipertahankan dengan jalan membuang
kelebihan asam tersebut. Hal ini disebabkan karena penurunan pH sedikit saja
menunjukkan keadaan sakit. Dalam tubuh kita mempunyai hal-hal berikut :
Sistem buffer, untuk mempertahankan pH tubuh agar tetap
normal.
Sistem pernapasan
Ginjal (Ginjal kita juga menolong untuk mengatur konsentrasi
H3O+ dalam darah agar tetap konstan, dengan jalan
mengeluarkan kelebihan asam melalui urine, sehingga pH urine
dapat berada sekitar 4,8 – 7,0)
Cara kerja : Jika darah kemasukan zat asam maka akan bereaksi dengan ion HCO3-
