activity #6: who cares?

1) defining my intended audience.

as i continue to develop my journal list, i find it very inspiring that my e-mail alert sends me

motivating scholarly articles pertaining to my research topic. i am looking forward to narrowing

my research topic soon, but i am also overwhelmed with the influx of intriguing information i

receive on a daily basis. it is my hope to reach a vast audience from every walk of life. research

scholars, educational policy makers, men and women in the business sector, curriculum

developers, directors of education, policy makers, parents, the media, administrators, activists,

principals at every level of academics, college and university professors and students, researchers

of quantitative and qualitative data, and the working population at large.

2) where my intended audience work.

my audience works in a immense variety of positions, from the ministry of education, business

men and women, law and policy makers, education board, and the average parent of students this

research is geared towards.

3) the level of education and employment of my intended audience.

the education level of my audience expands in a vast range. it will cover the average student who

has only obtained the basis requirements to obtain employment, to the people at the top of the

hierarchy who has the authority and power to make and change laws and policy.

4) the field or type of organization my audience works in.

field of work done by my audience ranges from educators, ministers, policy makers, students,

researchers, taxpayers, secretaries, clerical workers, and the average individual who is willing to

accept changes regardless of their academic status.


5) why my research and discoveries will be of interest to my audience.

my research and discoveries will be of interest to my audience as i begin this new journey of

researching, i find it very educational and useful. i have gained a wealth of knowledge of my

country which i may not have being conscious of prior, to developing and increasing my

education skills. just as i now read and summarize other’s research, and become full with a

wealth of information, i look forward to my audience finding the same things in my research

topics.
