Nico Dingemans (36) is based in the Netherlands and a graduate from CHN (now Stenden University of Applied Sciences), with a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, majoring in ‘Training & Development in Organizations’. He has 10 years of international hospitality experience, gained on 4 continents. Starting as management trainee in 1996 with Hyatt and Sheraton in Indonesia, his hotel career thereafter includes: Hilton Antwerp (F&B Supervisor), the 1224-rooms Hilton Atlanta Hotel & Towers (mgt. program), Red Sea Hotels Egypt (at 26, youngest F&B Manager in the group), opening of Mövenpick Cairo Media City in 2002 (pre-opening F&B Manager, the hotel boasted the largest Conference Centre in Cairo) and from 2004 to 2006 at the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Fluent in Dutch and English, he speaks German, French and Bahasa Indonesia fairly and notions of Arabic. From 2007 until Oct. 2010, Nico was consultant with HES Global Ltd. (Hospitality Executive Search) and HGR (Hospitality Graduate Recruitment). Initially responsible for the Benelux region, he soon started operating as consultant in a dual role (executive recruiter and key account manager) for 4 & 5 star international hotel clients throughout the Middle East and Europe. As executive recruiter he managed the full spectrum of each search assignment from A to Z, including, but not limited to; client/candidate communications, account management (from sales to invoicing), company and job profiling, database management, screening / selection / interviewing / referencing / CV presentations and general liaisons & consultancy. He gained experience in the placement of 2 complete (pre-opening) hospitality management teams, he launched a comprehensive sourcing campaign and has successfully placed candidates at Director, General Manager, Area Specialist and Corporate level positions (with annual salaries ranging between $40K - $220K) for high-end clients. Nico also gained special experience in HealthCare by successfully placing a team of Hotel Managers for a large Hospital Corporation in Qatar (who aims to implement a 5-star Hospitality Culture in their 6 hospitals & 23 clinics). As key account manager he was responsible for business development and maintaining the personal relationships with corporate hotel accounts. Nico traveled frequently to the Middle East (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar), Berlin and Brussels for PR purposes, client visits and to attend hospitality trade fairs. Nico is now an independent recruitment & sourcing specialist of hospitality executives for Hotels, Resorts and Hospitals.
