Each profile of the check up has been carefully designed to carefully examine what is recognised as the main medical challenges in each age bracket. Our Standard and Executive Wellness Check Ups are designed for the health conscious individual who want to keep an eye on their general medical condition. The exams are particularly useful in detecting the early onset of conditions that when managed early can be cured and avoid intrusive medical interventions. For instance, the pap smear enables the early detection of cervical cancer in females and the prostate antigen test (PSA) can be used to detect prostate cancer in males. Both Cervical and prostate cancer can be cured if detected early and fatal if detected late. Simple tests such as fasting blood sugar, stool and urinalysis are useful in the detection of diabetes. These check ups are particularly useful for those who may or may not have the time to keep an eye on their health and feel that their medical history and (or) family medical history mean they would benefit from a detailed medical examination and the guidance that results will yield in terms of diet and nutrition, exercise and lifestyle.
