in certain years. Draw a graph and write a short description about it.

Types Of Household Appliances

The graph above shows the percentage of Household Appliances in United States during the year 1980 until 2005. The horizontal axis shows the types of household appliances and the vertical axis shows the percentage of household with selected appliances in certain years. From the graph, the research had been conducted in every 5 years starting from 1980 until 2005. As you can see, the popular household appliances that have been used are TV set since 1980 and it increasing when the years 1990 until 2005. But in 1980 until 1985, the percentage of household appliances in TV set is the same. The appliance of computers in household is substantially higher every year until 2005.

In the years 1980 until 1985, the video recorder does not exist yet. The mobile phones also the same until 1990. The percentage of video recorder and mobile phones are dramatically higher from the years 2000 until 2005. The percentage of washing machines, fridges and landline telephones are the same that is fractionally higher during the 5 years. The central air conditioning for household appliances is not much higher in percentage rather than other household appliances. In conclusion, the household appliances are increase every year because it is a very important need in everyday live and also exposure to the electronics products.

The graph above is about Valentines Day gift given by both men and women in the United States. As you can see, the popular gifts for Valentines Day given by men to women are others, which mean they prefer giving a different kind of gift other than the usual gifts. The second most popular gift is cards, followed by flowers, candy, jewellery, lingerie, spa/personal care and perfume/cologne. For women, they prefer giving cards to their men, followed by candy, others, flowers, jewellery, lingerie, and perfume/cologne. The least favourite gift given by women to their men is spa/ personal care. From this graph we can see that men prefer a different kind of approach on giving their women gifts on Valentines Day. For women in the other hand, prefers a less complicated and traditional way of giving gift, which is by sending cards to their men. Meanwhile, the least favourite gift given by men to their

women is perfume/cologne and for women, is spa/personal care. For gift that both genders commonly agree on giving on Valentines Day gift is candy. Based on the information from the graph, we can conclude that both men and women have different idea and preference on gifts for Valentines Day, but both genders also prefer giving candy as gift.
