Primary data were collected through the open end and a close. End questions of the questionnaire, direct interaction with the customers and the outlets and some data are collected from the distributors and from the stores were done. Secondary data were collected from the website of pepsi.com and some management organizations.

Research plan :
To find out the stock of Different Mineral water in BBSR. I divided BBSR city some geographical areas and each part I visit 5 times to find out a particular sale of Mineral water.

Research instrument :
Here the common research instrument is the questionnaire through which primary data is collected from different consumers.

Contact method :
At first I directly met the consumers and introduced myself as M.B.A student and then collected the data required for my project work such as name ,address and their perception about mineral waters.

LIMITATION OF THE STUDY


The major limitation of the study was that in depth study in the subject couldnt be done due to time consideration. The other limitations are : The company doesnt declare all the data and internal data are kept confidential. Though every sincere and possible effort has been made to collect the data, some consumers were uncooperative in providing data .

Even though some of the consumers were scolded me when I was talking about mineral water. The study was small in size to gather accurate information about the project. The project is done in BBSR city may not represent the whole India. Since the data collected was representative based, the accuracy was questionable.

The company best known for its flagship product Coca Cola invented by pharmacist john smith in 1886.The coca cola formula and brand was bought in 1889 by asu candler who incorporated the company in 1892.Besides its name , coca cola currently offers nearly 400 hundreds brands over 200 countries and territories and serve 1.5 billion each day.The coca cola companys head quarter is at Atlanta,Georgia The company actually produces concentrate, which is then sold to various licensed coca cola bottlers through out the world.The bottlers who hold the territorially exclusive contracts with the company produced finished product in cases and bottles from the concentrate in combination with filtered water and sweetners.The bottle then sells ,distribute and merchandised coca cola in cane and bottles to retail stores and vending macghine.such bottles include cocacolala enterprises which is the largest single coca cola bottles in North America and western Europe.The coca cola company also sells concentrate for fountain sales to major restaurant and food service distributor .The coca cola company has an occasion to introduce other cola drinks under the coke brand name. The coca cola has different product or different types of flavor cold drinks in india such as coke,maaza,thumps up,sprite,fanta etc.All are under brand name of coke.

The decision to change their formula and pull the old coke off the market came about because taste tests showed a distinct preference for the new formula.The new formula was a sweeter variation with less tang ,it was also slightly smoother.Robert woodruff s death was a large contributor to the change because he stated that he would never change coca colas formulaa.Another factor that influenced the change was that cokes market share fell 2.5 percent in four years.Each percentage point lost or gain meant 200 million dollars.This was the first flavor change since the existence of coca cola company.The change was announced April 23,1985 at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at the Lincon centre.some two hundred TV and Newspaper reporters attend this very glitzy announcement. Many American consumers of COCA COLA asked if they would have the final say.when pepsi heard that the COCA COLA company was changing its secret formula they said that it was a decision that pepsi tastes better.Roger Enrico,the president and CEO of PEPSI-COLA wrote a letter to every major newspaper in the U.S to declare the victory. COCA-COLA management had to decide: Do nothing or buy the world a new coke.They decided to develop the new formula. 1985-July 10, eighty seven days after the new Coke was introduced, the old Coke was brought back in addition to new one.This was greatly due to dropping market share and consumer protest.T he market share fell from a high of 15 percent to a low of 1.4 percent.This was said to be a classic marketing retreat.COCA COLA executives admitted that they had goofed by taking the old coke off the market.The coca cola companys eight hundred number received eighteen thousand calls of gratitude. The one and half market survey finally and successfully the project topic.At last I personally feel that I should foot forward certain recommendation through which consumers will be entitled.
