Target Audience: The target audience will be 4th and 5th grade students at Mission Road Elementary. At this particular age, students often struggle with finding a genre that they really enjoy reading and will often become slack and lazy readers. This particular age of students (ages 8-11) are very visual learners. They play video games a lot and enjoy electronics and technology in general. Objective: The objective for this digital video is to promote reading for enjoyment and to introduce students to different genres of literature. Students will be exposed to a variety of genres and will realize there are a lot of good books to choose from in the media center at Mission Road Elementary. The character word of the month will be tied into the video.
