Sunday evening was an awesome presentation by our Childrens choirs of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus.

Thank you choir leaders, parents and especially the children for a truly worshipful experience. What a joy to see so many children involved in the music experience of worship. Thank you Senior Adults for a wonderful time last Monday at our Senior Adult Picnic and Boat Ride. We are blessed with the wit and wisdom of some great saints of God at First Baptist Church. Thank you to those who brought the covered dish meal. ( I brought the appetite.) From Children to Senior Adults, there is a place of worship and service at the First Baptist Church. From ministry to worship to fellowship there are opportunities to express your love for God. First Baptist Church is blessed with a diversity of people of age and ability. There is truly a place for anyone who wants to serve the Lord here in His House. A reminder that this is the time to nominate men to serve as Deacons for the next three years. The Deacons have a vital ministry at First Baptist. They are ministers to families, they are a sounding board to the congregation and staff. I know you will prayerfully consider the names to be nominated. Thank you for doing so. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday in Sunday School and Worship. Paul

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS PROGRAM

Last Sunday evening in the 6:30 p.m. service, our Children's Choirs presented their end of the year program. Our four fabulous, fantastic kid's choirs did an awesome job with drama, motions and singing. I was amazed at the maturity and growth that our students have made since they sang for us earlier in the year. The salvation testimonies by our 5th & 6th graders was especially moving. Thanks, Sydney, for your hard work to make the videos! Please show your appreciation to their leaders, each wonderful Christian ladies who have invested their lives into the our children. These leaders make First Baptist Churchs Music Ministry for children the envy of all the area churches. FELLOWSHIP CLUB ENDS FOR THE SUMMER A big word of thanks to the leaders of the Fellowship Club for making this past year a resounding success! We culminate a full year of activities with our Picnic in the Park last Monday afternoon. Those who took the pontoon boat ride had a great time, later. Thanks to each of you who contributed your homemade specialties for us to savor. The variety and quality of the food gets better and better. Our Fellowship Committee will gather before the end of the summer to begin plans for another great year of activities. Call me with any suggestions you may have for programs. COMMUNITY PATRIOTIC PROGRAM Mark the date of Sunday night, June 26 for our Community Patriotic Program in the Coliseum. Rehearsals will begin soon. Art

30 Hour Famine The high school Sunday School class participated in World Visions 30 Hour Famine last weekend. Twenty-five high school students went without food for 30 hours in order to experience hunger first hand. A scavenger hunt for donated clothes and shoes netted over 1000 items which were donated to the Migrant Workers and Agape Ministries. Thank you to all who sacrificed and the helpers that made it happen. Kudos to Mr. Jeff Eenigenburg of Grace Church who led the youth in worship Wednesday night. We will welcome Mr. Erick Champion from Tallahassee Wednesday, May 18th. Invite your friends to join us. MARTUS witness for Jesus is the FBC Praise Band.
