ANY OTHER BENEFITS: Pensions Option, Sickness benefit SUMMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To lead / participate in assigned projects across the Pall Newquay site, within budgetary and time constraints. RESPONSIBILITIES: Line Management Responsibility: Financial/Budget Responsibility: None Raise and progress purchase orders. Provide capital / project budgets. Raise capital approval requests. POSITION COMPETENCIES: Knowledge & Key Skills: Interpersonal and presentation/communication skills Computer literate (Microsoft, Lotus Notes, Project Management, Mapics, SAP) Technical report writing skills Ability to prioritise, manage and complete projects with limited direction. Technical / engineering knowledge. Working knowledge of medium to high volume manufacturing processes (manual and automatic). Proven leadership / teamwork skills in a multi-disciplinary, multi-site environment Good knowledge in Lean Manufacturing concepts. Good Knowledge in the use of six sigma and statistical tools like process capability, SPC, DOE. Essential Qualifications/Education: Degree in Engineering or Equivalent level Greenbelt / 6 sigma certification Project Management training Essential Previous Experience: Successful implemention of medium to large scale projects in a medium/high volume Medical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive or Food Industry Proven experience in a Project management role in a medium/high volume Medical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive or Food Industry Experience of implementing change in a regulated environment Miscellaneous: Ability and availability to work extended periods away from site. Self motivated and capable of working and managing own time. Clean & tidy work ethic with particular attention to housekeeping.

MAIN DUTIES: Plan & implement projects on a multi-disciplinary basis. Identify and implement appropriate working practices and methods. Liaise with appropriate internal and external customers / suppliers. Provide regular feedback of project status. Conduct FMEA analysis along with a suite of six sigma and statistical tools Specify, evaluate and approve new processes and equipment. Ensure legislative protocols are adhered to. Identify and participate in projects aimed at cost reductions or performance improvements in existing products.
