Argyle Legwarmers from Knit Picks Design Team

Knit in the traditional Fair Isle method with duplicate stitch accents, these colorful legwarmers are cozy and warm. Made in the classic color combination we chose or a lively selection of brights (try Sunshine, Aloe and Capri), they will add a spark of fun to your outfit. Note: All rounds of Argyle Chart are worked right to left. When knitting, substitute grey for the red squares, and duplicate stitch the red lines when the knitting is complete. Directions With size 7 DPNs, cast on 72 sts. Join, being careful not to twist. Round 1: P2, k2; rep to end of round. Rep this round until piece measures 2 from cast on edge. Change to size 8 DPNs and Argyle Chart. Work even for 12, ending with a Round 2. Change back to smaller DPNs and P2, K2 rib; knit for 2. Bind off loosely. Work in ends; duplicate stitch the red lines following the chart.
