ndonesia’s economy is rebounding after being affected by
the COVID-19 outbreak. Indonesia’s resilient economy is
demonstrated by the successful acceleration of the economic
growth rate, which grows positively by 3.70 percent in 2021 after a severe
id
contraction of 2.07 percent in 2020. This condition is strengthened by
.
the acceleration of economic growth, which continues to occur until it
go
reaches 5.31 percent in 2022, even faster than the economic growth

perubahan yang berarti selama periode tahun 2018-2022. Selama periode lima

Pengeluaran Konsumsi Rumah Tangga (PK-RT). Pada tahun 2022, kontribusi komponen
ht

lapangan usaha justru mengalami perlambatan laju pertumbuhan. Salah satu

Pembentukan Modal Tetap Bruto (PMTB).

tingkat kesehatan perekonomian suatu negara. PDB per kapita pun juga sering
digunakan untuk melihat perkembangan kondisi kesejahteraan masyarakat suatu
negara.

.b
akhir, investasi (fisik), dan ekspor neto. Konsumsi akhir terdiri dari barang dan
//w

2.1. Coverage
This section will describe the coverage used in the compilation of GDP by
industry and expenditures. It contains the technical explanation of the kind of economic
activity which covered for each industry or component of GDP. In establishing the
coverage for industries and other components of GDP, it is all according to the 2008
System of National Accounts (SNA) with several adjustments based on economic
conditions in Indonesia.
The industries included for compiling the GDP will be grouped into 17

Based on the SNA 2008 guidebook, GDP by industry is defined as the sum of
gross value added to taxes on products minus subsidies on products. Taxes on products
are taxes paid per unit of goods or services. This tax can be the sum of money per
quantity of goods or services or a tax which value computed as a percentage of the
price per unit or the total value of the goods and services transacted. Subsidies for
products are subsidies paid per unit of goods or services. Subsidies for products can
also be in the form of a specific value or a percentage of the value of the goods and

7. Statistical Discrepancies
The calculation of GDP in Indonesia is carried out based on two approaches,
which are the production side (industry) and the expenditure side. In theory, these
differences are intended to ensure consistency and entirety of estimation, control
the adequacy of the estimation results, and can provide more benefits in carrying
out GDP analysis. However, differences in the estimation approach, data source,
and calculation method lead to different results between the two approaches. The
difference that appears is called a statistical discrepancy and is placed on the GDP
id
side by expenditure.

Besides the production approach (industry), GDP can also be observed by
the expenditure approach. This approach portrays the expenditure structure for
final demand. Where in the final demand referred to might be from within the
country (domestic) or abroad. In detail, domestic final demand consists of household
consumption, non-profit institutions serving households (NPISHs) consumption,
government consumption, gross fixed capital formation (GFCF), and changes in
inventories. Meanwhile, final demand from abroad emerges from export activities.
To fulfill domestic final demand, all goods and services come not only from domestic
production but also from imported products. In the estimation of GDP, imports must
be excluded from the final demand calculation. Therefore, imports are counted as a
subtraction component for exports where the difference is referred to as net exports.
