Designed by Overclockers, for Overclockers
OC-VRM
Powered by a 16-phase power VRM via two 8-pin molex power connectors Up to 1,500 Watts of power can be delivered to the CPU Features a unique POScap and PowerPAK MOSFET design
OC-Touch
Manually adjust the CPU ratio, BCLK settings as well as adjustments to the BCLK stepping ratio, to either 1MHz or 0.1MHz increments Adjust in real-time, whether in BIOS, DOS, or Windows without the need for rebooting Unique back-panel OC button
OC-PEG
Provides two onboard SATA power connectors to give more stable PCIe power The independent power inputs for the PCIe slots helps to improve even single graphics card overclocking
OC-DualBIOS
With OC-DualBIOS means users can easily compare two BIOS versions without losing original settings Unique back-panel BIOS switcher and LED indicator, allowing users to easily select different BIOSes for normal use or overclocking
X79-UD7
16 CPU Power Phase design 2x8 pin Input Power design
POScap design means lower temperatures improved durability and easier motherboard insulation

Turbo Voltage Response allows the CPU and Memory voltage to reach their target voltages quicker, helping to improve overclocking performance and provide better power savings
By adjusting load line calibration, Vdroop can be avoided, maintaining optimal voltages levels despite increasing current levels
3D Power frequency control allows users to change the PWM controller frequency so that the CPU VRM can adjust power delivery speeds more quickly
3D Power Utility
Voltage parameters can be modified within 3D Power, including load line calibration the of CPU. OVP (Over Voltage Protection) can also be adjusted to change default protection range of the CPU, memory controller, VTT and system memory.
Users can calibrate OCP (Over Current Protection) for the CPU, integrated memory controller and system memory power levels. This allows the Phase control to deliver even more power to the system when needed.
GIGABYTEs all-digital PWM allows for adjustable frequency control of CPU, VTT, Integrated Memory Controller and both A/B and C/D Memory arrays.
3D Mode
3D Mode: A streamlined graphical BIOS environment with descriptions and notes to help novice and casual users
3D Mode: Graphical menus display voltage, temperatures and fan speeds and more
3D Mode: Simply click the 3D BIOS logo to reveal real-time CPU core, BCLK and Memory frequencies
Advanced Mode: A comprehensive UEFI BIOS environment designed specifically for Overclockers and power users who demand maximum control over their PCs hardware
GIGABYTE DualBIOS features two physical BIOS ROMS mounted onto the motherboard. One chip acts as your "Main" BIOS, or the BIOS your system primarily uses during boot up. The second chip acts as a "Backup" BIOS and will automatically restore data to the main BIOS in case of malfunction.
GIGABYTE is the only motherboard vendor to bundle Bluetooth 4.0 compatible PCIe card Bluetooth 4.0 includes Bluetooth Smart; a new class of Bluetooth technology that offers revolutionary low power consumption Bluetooth 4.0 devices inc. the latest Apple iPhone 4s
Heres the truth of the matter: Bluetooth Smart and Bluetooth Smart Ready devices will revolutionize the way we collect, share and use information, said Michael Foley, Ph.D., executive director of the Bluetooth SIG *
Apples recently launched iPhone 4s is one of the first devices to support the new Bluetooth 4.0 and Smart Ready standards
