Define the crime is extremely difficult because the offense is one well-defined behavior under the criminal code, which is very different depending on which country we are. Causes Of Crime
One of the causes of crime are biological or genetic factors. Besides differences were found in the nervous system and brain damage. There is a theory that the individual who has not had a healthy relationship with their parents has not been able to develop self-control. It is said that we are is the result of our past, and that therefore the delinquent, it is because in the past has been successful doing it. Another theory says that is the result of a severance of ties with society through a neglect, school failure, ... Another theory that society provides emphasizes the success we aspire to instill a lot, but then not given the means to achieve it, causing frustration. It is an attempt to adapt frustrated. There are subcultures in which the most admired is the one who commits more crimes. It appears that even individual offender catalog makes that individual assumes the role.

The word crime, in the terms of criminal law, is an act which is punishable by the law of the land. All crimes are evil acts. However, some crimes are those acts which are not punishable by the law of the land, even though they are evil acts. A person who is involved in crimes is known as a criminal. The word crime, in a broad sense, is defined as an act which violates either a political law or a moral law. In the narrower sense of the term, the word crime is defined as a violation of the criminal law. Most violations that take place at traffic signals on the roads are considered to be breaches of contracts, but they are not considered to be crimes in the legal sense of the term. Anything that is in violation of the penal code of a country is considered to be a crime.

Crime has exited since time immemorial. From the picking of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden to the modern highly complex crime network, society has never been devoid of illegal practices. Human nature is inflexible and hence illegal practices have continued irrespective of space, time or age. Nevertheless differences do exist in the practices prevalent in various cultures and societies.

Crime is commission of an act forbidden by the law or the omission of duty commanded. However according to Adam smith's natural theory of law, "crime is the violation of individual rights and man made laws" or simply, an illegal act. Varying classification of criminal activities is now present. Once left handedness tantrums and fits were also classified as crimes. What defines a crime depends on how that crime is viewed. A crime could be viewed from a legal or normative perspective and whether it was in the past or present or in which society the crime was committed. This shows that there is no simple definition of crime. Society is the breeding ground for criminals. Though crime cannot be completely eradicated from the society but its frequency can be reduced throw organized plan and calculated measure. Education should be made compulsory and accessible and a proper employment plan should be chocked out. In addition, the judiciary should be made fair and impartial so that effective punishment which act as deterrents are meted out. The media must realized its role and inculcate strong moral values in the youth of today. Closer family ties will help in eradicating crime from the society.
