The positioning statement Hello to the Future is basically comprised of two words Hello and Future that provides the inward communication through the word Hello, i.e. PTCL welcomes its customers and the future. Current Problem
1) Inefficient: The system is old fashion working on registers and use of printouts to generate list and reports which is very time consuming. 2) Data redundancy: It is very common in manual system. There are a lot of copies to be made of the same record so when all the copies are not updated data redundancy occurs 3) Inconsistency of data: This is very common as when all the files are not updated. Then the same data in different files conflict which causes a problem on determine which the up to date data is. 4) Slower process: The data has to be written in manual system. So when there are a lot of files with same data it is slow and time consuming to update all the files. 5) Report preparation: This is very time consuming and laborious to make a report of any special transaction or monthly sales report. 6) No validity check: This is a major problem which leads to inconsistency of data as there is no way to ensure that the data is not duplicated. 7) Unshared: The data could not be shared easily. For more than a person to read it either the data has to be copied or the people have to take turns to see it. 8) Poor security: the data is kept in lockers which are not very safe as the data could be misplaced. 9) No backup: if there are any backups made in this system as it will take a lot of time to create backups. So in case of data loss it is difficult to get the complete record together.

Solution to Problem
PTCL has grown out to be Pakistans largest telecommunication company providing network coverage throughout Pakistan. The problem is that the company does not comprise of a computerized system. This is a major problem for all the large company these days. I am designing a computerized system that can help to remove all problems such a data storage, backup, area of storage and there is also the problem of security. i. ii. Since the master file is a hard copy and can be stolen easily while a master file in a form of softcopy is much safer. This also helps while sharing the file with the other employees and also creating a backup in a CD/DVD or a USB is much easier. A computer file is not space taking and is just stored in a hard drive that keeps is new and fresh at all times and can be used at any time

Solution to existing problem

For now these problems can be solved by

Careful compiling of all the data and creating a hard copy backup by photocopying the master file and also photocopying the file witch should be shared to the employees. Creating a backup will take time but will secure the data and keeping the backup and the master file in separate using strong locks or any other advanced locking system to secure their safety. An old file (hardcopy) is not that long lasting so important sheets and data is to be printed in special paper and should have a plastic covering, thus the file would be safe and sound at all times and will take time to become a worn out page.
