We are now scheduling the 2012 Certified Health Facilitation Program. Please see the cost and dates for this Health Facilitator Certification program in this letter. With the legislation in 2009 that made New Mexico a Health Freedom State we will need competency based providers to embrace wellness based education and practices for our communities. Health consumers, health professionals and health related businesses are increasingly turning to therapies and life styles that choose wellness over illness. In responding to the need to change our thinking, deep reflection for others and our own selfcare, and in support for healing our planet, the Health Facilitation Program was born. This program is the first in New Mexico to offer skills that focus on integrating wellness concepts into a healthcare setting that work alongside conventional treatments and highlight the human side of healing. Digby and I have been involved in these concepts for over 40 years in our mental health and substance abuse profession practice as well as my Naturopathic practice. We are very excited to teach this as a full and comprehensive program rather than in fragmented pieces. The program provides a foundation in plant medicine, essential oils and healing energy work. It includes 3 certifications and a focus on how to implement procedures and develop policy. We include a 6 month follow up gathering of the students to evaluate how it has impacted and improved their personal and professional world. Completion of all modules is required to receive certification as a Health Facilitator. Early Registration by 12-18-2011 with a $50 non-refundable fee will receive a10% discount on the program. Final day for registration will be 01-06-2012 and a $50 nonrefundable save me a place fee will be required at that time. Confirmation letters will be sent 1-09-2012 via email or by postal if requested. $1210/discounted ($50 deposit applied) or $1350 ($50 deposit applied) non-discounted is due at the start of the first class, 01-20-2012. Payment may be made by check, money order or cash. If for any reason the program is canceled by Therapeutic Environments all monies will be refunded to participants. The full cost of the program may be made in two payments but the discount will not apply even with early registration. In this case the $50 non-refundable fee will not be applied to the total cost. One half of the payment would be due at the first class , 01-20-2012 ($700.00) with the balance ($700.00) due 04-20-2012.

All classes will be held here in Albuquerque. Cost of the 130-hour program includes 3 certificates of completion, one in Comfort Touch, one as a Phyto-Fragrance Practitioner, one as a Herbal Practitioner. On completion of the Health Facilitator Program the graduate will receive a certificate as a recognized Certified Health Facilitator (CHF). The Essential Oil, Energy, Herbal and Unlicensed Practitioner books and all supplies are included in the cost. All other recommended books will be the responsibility of the student to purchase if they wish. Cost: $1400.00 ( this includes tax $87) 10% Discounted cost: $1260 (this includes tax$78) Class attendance is required for all modules and the Health Facilitator Certificate will be awarded only when all hours are complete. Make up classes may or may not be offered in 2012. Any missed classes will need to be completed to receive the CHF.
