Hydropower Development Policy, 2001

One of the objectives of the HDP, j , hydropower potential of Nepal in a meet the domestic demand and commodity and to attract foreign sector.

PRESENT STATUS OF LICENSING PROCEDURES


As new Acts has not been passed by legislature, p y g GON has introduced Internal Working Procedure (2011) Up to 10 MW projects, procedure as per existing rules and regulations with provisions of checking financial capability fi i l bilit j g y For projects higher than 10 MW capacity, GON will solicit the prospective developers
