Jan 2006 – A session on Web Designing.
Conducted a 3 Day Workshop on March 16, 17 and 18th 2006 in collaboration with IT
association.

28th Sept 2006 - Sprint event SWECHA was organized successfully in our college to an
extent of 10% of the entire activity .
Oct 2006 – Essence of Free software, Gnu/Linux distributions sessions to 2nd years.
Dec 2006 - A Project on code reviewing system.
2007
21st Feb 2007 - session on PLONE and ZOPE, Software Patents.
CONVERGENCE 2007 - Conducted a Workshop on Perl, Python.
Labs were converted to dual boot systems.
3rd-4th March 2007 - Organised National Convention on Free Software, at HCU in
collaboration with FSF, AP Chapter

LDAP backend for the GNU HURD
To allow GNU Hurd's authentication server to use LDAP backend (like openLDAP) to
store and retrieve information. This would enable new systems( aka GNU/HURD) to use
an existing LDAP based infrastructure for file sharing authentication and other details
with other systems in the centralized computng environment.

Indic Script support for pagination in GNU/LINUX

This project is aimed to provide scope for Indic scripts in pagination. The term Indic
script refers to Indo-Aryan language which form a sub-group of Indo-Iranian languages
belonging to the Indo-European family of languages.The term Indic refers to the same
group without the negative semiotics of 'Aryan Race'.It is also used in the context of
Indo-European Linguistics.

Editorial Workflow...
In a typical newspaper, news comes in from various geographically distributed divisions
and each news item has it's own importance. In order that a news article gets printed in a
newspaper the new item has to flow through different levels of hierarchy, right from the
lowest point in a branch office to the highest point (editor/sub-editor) in the head office.
In this journey, each item has to be categorised according to it's importance before finally
reaching the layout artist who will then design the page according to the the priority of
the item. This project will provide the entire workflow for the life cycle of a news item
from beginning to end. This project will also take care of storage and archival of the news
items.Different people with various levels of permissions work on a single news item and
project will encompass the user management to satisfy this requirement.
